Can Zoro , Mihawk or any swordsman beat Buggy without Haki? No matter how many pieces you cut him into it will just be to his devil fruits advantage. Can it be done?

They can beat him if they bind him with a rope or throw him in the ocean

Since when are they forced to cut him with their swords when physical strength is enough to do damage?

I've been wondering about this too.
Buggy could, in theory, piece up his entire body into micro sized bits, which won't be effected by a punch or a slash.

Buggy for PK!

Buggy's power happens automatically I believe.

A stab will do just fine. I don't think even a Haki laced slash would cut Buggy tbh.

Do you ever recall Zoro or Mihawk throwing a punch?

They could use the back edge or the sheath.

OT: They couldn't beat him with swords but I'm sure they could find a way to beat him. They could just use a wooden stick sword and be as effective without his DF power messing it up for them.

Hey your right , don't know why I didn't think of this , they could actually stab him in his heart and then just directly remove the blade.

I'm sure it works on stabs as well, it's still the same basic concept of cutting and Buggy is immune to cuts, it doesn't have to be a slash even stabs cut.

Buggy is immune to being cut. A stab is a pierce. There's a difference; you see this difference every time you jab your fork into a piece of food, then cut it with a knife.

Buggy can always 'separate' before a slash hits him... That way he can even counter Haki-imbued attacks...

Swordsmen capable of throwing slashes are supposed to have very strong arms, they can anytime beat the crap out of Buggy or just take one of his part and drown it in sea-water...

Pretty simple for them to just knock buggy out instead.

Using the blunt edge of the sword is enough to defeat buggy.
