Btooom!

I just started reading Btoom! and I must admit, I was very reluctant at first.

The usual type of manga I read are Fantasy and adventure. Something along the lines of Naruto, DBZ, InuYasha, Hunter x Hunter and you get the idea. So you understand how weary I was of starting a modern day manga.

IT IS AMAZING!! Highly recommend. I'm only 2 volumes in and I know this is something I'm going to stick with.

Yeah it's pretty good. I watched the anime then read the manga. There are missing parts from the anime (I don't know why they didn't include them because they ran out quickly in 12 episodes)

No it is continued. I think he meant that the anime stopped at chapter 50. However, the manga switched from weekly to monthly so be prepared for that. The latest chapter (58) was released today so I'll be reading that now

I recommend that you watch the anime first because it's really good! You can catch the missing parts easily when you read the manga afterwards.
