Apparently Syfy, when BSG ended they asked for another franchise to be a space drama series so they turned to the Stargate franchise. So the idea is they have, basicly the same plot. Due to the fact that in SGU people are stuck on destiny and want to get home (Earth). And Bsg the Colonies are looking for refuge on Earth after the Rebelion of the Cylons. So which would you pick?
