The idea is to distract them while Bee uses Bijuudama, not to kill them. If Sasuke is focusing on Ay he can't use Amaterasu.

But, Bee WON'T use a Bijuudama when in the blast could not only hurt him, but his brother too! And if Sasuke is tucked away in his Susano'o, he could either use the quick and deadly Susano'o arrows, or the brute strength of Susano'o. Amaterasu isn't exactly needed, but is the ideal jutsu.

And Sasuke won't use Amaterasu from the get go, but we're obviously using bloodlusted mindsets.

And Sasuke has used Amaterasu and other MS techniques from the early stages of the battle, Not right away. But it won't be something he holds off on, like Itachi would. And I wasn't aware we were using Blood lusted mindsets.

seemed to me like ay dodged amaterasu pretty easily at the 5k summit, and it was my impression that a and b were supposed to be equal in strength and speed. also, im wondering if a double lariat blitz could instantly kill sasuke or itachi. but on the other hand susano activation is pretty damn fast lol. im really unsure who the winner would be. i agree with OP. itachi and sasuke are probably stronger individually, but a and b are a perfect team.

edit: if its blood lusted mindsets, ay might start off in v2 and they would definitely double lariat one of the uchihas, or at least do heavy damage at the start of the fight. also, if its blood lust mindset, b will prolly go eight tails mode right off the bat and use bijuudama. alphabet team wins six out of ten times.
and i doubt sasuke's susano would protect him, i mean ay had the balls to bash the shit out of an amaterasu-cloaked ribcage form and was prepared to lose a leg, too.

Uchiha bros take this handily. No form of Bee has a defense against Amaterasu, so the moment one of them decides to use this jutsu, will be the moment Bee falls. The only thing A has going for him in this fight is his speed, which lets him evade Amaterasu, but any and every attack he throws out can be easily tanked by a V2 Susanoo. Not to mention if he goes in for a blitz, one of the other bros can snag him with Susanoo and Genjutsu him (Itachi) or Light him up (Sasuke) Not to mention Sasuke's Enton will cover parts of the field limiting the amount of places A can run to.
