Soo we all know that in order to not lose your eyesight after over-raping your mangekyu sharingan abilities, you have to quite literally steal the eyes of one of your clansmen (perferebaly your brother when it comes to Kishi, cuz we all love the drama). Soo I wanna ask, why all the hatred over it? You have two power-thirsty brothers, or any two relatives really, can't they simply exchange eyes? Equivalent exchange and all that, FMA can teach them lots.

Madara: Hey bro, I'm losing my eyesight and so are you, here are my eyes *empty eye sockets*
Younger bro: Thanks bro, here, have mine in exchange, I won't need them anymore lol

idk how it all works up to now, idk if he infused the eyes with his original eyes or he took out his then put in the other ones if thats the case then theoretically both bothers should be able to unlock EMS

...What do you mean? o: Have you actually read that part of the manga where it says that both Uchiha Madara and his younger brother awakened the Mangekyu Sharingan, but Madara started losing his eyesight and stole his brother's eyes? And then you have a maniac Itachi explaining about the pros of stealing the eyes of a relative and how it gives you EMS. Eyes might have been dying on him, but they'd work great for his brother, because of Kishi-no-jutsu.

PRetty sure they are fused thats why they have both patterns in idk maybe the eye sockets produce a different design in the eye so when you put in your brothers eye with the design already their and your eye sockets create your design in their eye idk it wasnt explained really.

Well, Itachi's eyesight was already going the dodo's way when he died... Sasuke doesn't seem to be complaining of near-sightness, much on the contrary, actually.

I believe this establishes that you can take a busted-up pair of eyes, insert them in your brother, and... Somehow, they work as though brand new. Hell, Sasuke even got night-vision as a plus.
