Killua and Illumi would watch as the enemy launched his kunai towards the two, in regards to the kunai in front of them, sent in a linear fashion. Killua would first create a single hand-seal and clap his hands releasing a large torrent of water from his mouth that would then form into a wave, the wave would be colossal matching that of the wall of kunai before him. As the wave traveled forward a plethora of muddy snakes would burst from the ground (within the same time-frame) merging with the tidal wave of water, and increasing the density of the wave, giving it a slight brown hue, what with the mud snakes emerging from it. The mud wave would be an earth/water combo and would barrel passed the explosive kunai and on-wards towards Ardyn. Within the same time-frame Silva would perform two hand-seals releasing a fire ball into the sky above them, meant to destroy the kunai his adversary had thrown in arc, as if it would go unnoticed, the fireball effectively destroy the kunai and continue onwards into the sky. This would happen in the same time-frame as Killua's mud/water wave. "Is that all...?"For reference I'll be using a basic katana coated with ani as my custom weapon. Haven't had a chance to add it to my bio yet.
Ten'notsurugi: Mythos, Jinsei no Sāberu) Astrum Sword: Mythos, Vita Saber
Rank: N/A
Type: Weapon
Range: N/A
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage: +20 to Kenjutsu and Command Arts
Description: "The Blade of Heaven...Mythos the Life Sabre. One of the Ten Shinning Weapons." When Keotsu returned to the known continent from his journey to regions unknown, he returned with his blade Mythos in a new form; some secret event took place which reconfigured the blade and created a powerful connection between Keotsu and the sword. The Mythril blade retained its ability to change it's shape, but not it's mass when subjected to Keotsu's chakras, as did the scabbard of the weapon, though the two were no longer explicitly linked. A few improvements were noted by Keotsu, though: the blade seemed to resonate better than before, boosting his powers in battle: offensive Kenjutsu techniques and Command Arts have their power increased by +20, and defensive and supplementary Kenjutsu and Command Arts are increased in their effectiveness by +20 (that is, a defensive technique that is A-rank (60 damage) would be capable of now defending from an S-rank (80 damage) ; second, the blade came to reject energies that were foreign to Keotsu - that's to say, for example, if an enemy tried to use Nagashi after grabbing the blade, the energy would stop completely due to the nature of the blade's composition. This particular power comes about from the blade's new found synergy with Keotsu, in an effort to prevent it from being used against him. Retaining all the properties of the metal it was forged from, Mythos is indestructible and will never dull, in any of its forms.
*The user can manipulate the blade’s form during battle at any time, but it costs 35 chakra to do so, and also counts towards one of that turn’s three allotted moves.
*Can only be wielded by Keotsu. When someone else tries to hold the blade, it will reject their chakra and increase its density exponentially, making it to heavy to be lifted. However, it reverts to its original density when Keotsu is holding it.
*While the sword can transform into different types of weapons, like a katana or spear, it is bound by its mass, meaning that the form it takes on has to be within the realms of creating from the same amount of matter.
*While Mythos is in hand, Keotsu is unable to cast Genjutsu at all.
(Ani) Brother
Type: Supplementary
Rank: N/A
Range: N/A
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: Keotsu's legendary blade Mythos has been with him through trials and tribulations of all sorts; and in turn, Keotsu has used his strength to help his friends through their own challenges. The strength Keotsu could offer was always limited, though, as so many of his teachings were made with his own blade in mind. This technique allows others to use Mythos, when they normally could not. Because Mythos is tied to Keotsu's soul, he will perform a small ritual with one that Keotsu is incredibly close to: Keotsu will place Mythos in its entirety atop one of his brothers-in-arms' weapons, and coat it in an incredibly thin layer of the Mythril that Mythos is made of. In this action, Keotsu accepts this person into his soul, marking them as someone of great importance to him. This imparts the weapon with all the abilities of Mythos, except for the ability to change shape, the original ability that Mythos possessed in its form of "Mikomi", long, long ago.
*Note: Cannot be used in battle. The purpose of this technique is to allow others to be able to use Mythos.
*Note: True to the blade, if a piece of Mythos is ever used against Keotsu, this technique will "deactivate", and that person will be as if they could not have used Mythos in the first place.
*Note: Those who Keotsu teaches "Brother" will be able to use (Ten'notsurugi: Mythos, Jinsei no Sāberu) Astrum Sword: Mythos, Vita Saber with all of its abilities, except the ability to change shape.
Ardyn looks across the field calmly at the man stood across from him. The wind whispers through the leaves of the trees in the distance. As though it were setting it's lungs free, preparing to howl through the forest they stood near. The man opposite Ardyn seemed ready he stood at an equal height to Ardyn almost. Turning his head to either side Ardyn cracked his neck loudly. Placing his right leg forwards slightly so both legs were a shoulders width apart. Ardyn twists his dominant right leg inwards slightly in an anticlockwise fashion, keeping the shin on a side angle as a protection against low attacks especially groin kicks. His rear leg followed suit also twisting to an anti clockwise angle promoting greater mobility with the rear left heel slightly raised from the floor. Ardyn continues with his stance adoption by bending both legs slightly at the knee joint. With the rear leg remaining with it's heel off the floor. Coiled as though it were a spring.
To look at from an outside perspective Ardyn's body shape was looking somewhat more triangular than normal with this position. He continued by raising his left hand upwards in a straight line, flicking a kunai in to each hand he continues clenching his fist he used the closed fist directly below his chin almost touching it. While the elbow was angled in such a way to protect his ribs from harm. Making his motions considerably easier when it came to defending with his non dominant arm. Ardyn raised his dominant right arm. Keeping the fist loosely closed the kunai held in a reversed grip. Swaying the arm from side to side slightly always keeping it moving left and right. It was angled to be lower than the left held almost in line with his shoulder if not a little lower.
With his body turned slightly sideways, Ardyn successfully reduces the target area presented to the large individual. Tilting his head slightly sideways and raising his shoulders increases this effect, providing almost no location the opponent could land a direct strike without himself becoming open. It was in the motion of drawing the kunai that Ardyn began his attack for the kunai in his right hand was ready, this kunai is thrown directly towards the opponent in a linear fashion whilst the kunai in his left hand is thrown in such a way that it arcs high in to the air above the woman falling atop her head if left unperturbed.
With the kunai thrown and the attack underway Ardyn would make a quick string of handseals causing the right hand kunai that is flying in a linear fashion to multiply in to one thousand copies of itself forming a tremendous wall of kunai so thick and dense that the normal human eye would struggle a great deal to see clearly through it, being nearly impossible in fact.
With this done Ardyn would activate his silent lightning ability finishing his onslaught with preparations for his adversaries survival should he be capable of such a thing along with drawing his ani infused katana and activating the first prayer.
Shuriken Kage Bunshin no Jutsu) - Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: After throwing one shuriken or more against their target, the user creates up to a thousand shadow clones of the shuriken (or kunai, senbon, etc, basically any basic weapon) after performing Ram → Rat → Bird → Boar → Tiger which multiply the damage as its striking down the enemy. This is a technique that combines ninja tools with ninjutsu. Compared to normal shadow clones, clones of material objects are said to be on a far higher level. There is no need for preparations beforehand, like stocking up on shuriken, yet since the shadow clones are real and not illusions, all the shadow blades that fly around are equally lethal. This is valid for any weapon copied and it has been seen that the copied weapons will also have the tags or markings of the original, like sealing or explosive tags or sealing marks.
Raiton: Sairento Kaminari) - Lightning Release: Silent Lightning
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Self
Chakra Cost: 20(+5 to each lightning attack)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user cloaks the sounds made by his lightning attacks, making them stealthy. This acts through the fact that the user concentrates a much higher amount of chakra over his lightning, that act as a thick layer, covering any sounds(as crackling) that the techniques make. This does not silence any other techniques, and if the lightning destroys something it is out loud, and not silent.
* May be used twice per battle.
* Lasts 3 turns.
* Must be taught by Shigure.
Kamei Gigei: Saisho no Inori: Hikaru Aki Hasira) Command Art: First Prayer: Shining Autumn Pillar
Rank: A
Type: Offense/Supplementary/Defense
Range: Self
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A
Description: The first of the “Prayer” series of the Command Arts, Hikaru Aki Hashira, often called “Aki-gamae (autumn stance)” by its users, is a Kenjutsu stance instead of an actual attack. It is a variation of the Waki-gamae in that the user holds their blade at waist level, parallel to the ground, whether in its scabbard or not, a position best suited for quick-draw strikes. The user focuses their chakra throughout their entire body in a steady stream while in this stance, increasing their speed and strength by 25%. This increase in ability comes about from the chakra augmenting the muscles naturally, instead of forcefully, essentially putting the body in a natural “peak” condition. This chakra also coats the user’s blade and allows the counter-offensive nature of Aki come through. Whether sheathed or not, the user can swing their blade and dispel an incoming attack by disrupting it, allowing the user to protect themselves and then counter-attack. The method of blocking attacks is based upon the concept of an immovable pillar.
*The First Prayer can only shield the user from attacks of an equal or lower rank.
*Blocking an attack counts against one of the three allotted moves in a turn.
Ardyn would watch with his trademark smirk as the opponent released a tremendous wave of water towards him, followed by a large maelstrom of snakes made of earth emerging from the ground and mixing in with the water heading towards him, deciding to defend himself quickly he would draw his Ani sword activating the first prayer, thanks to the Ani blade enhancing his prayers defensive capability, a single slash of his blade was enough to completely disrupt the oncoming attack, dispersing it leaving him unharmed. With this done he would activate the second prayer. Removing the limitations to the form and making it a full blown mode. Before spinning the blade in a figure eight, activating Raijin Rising.
(Suiton: Dai Bakusui Shōha) - Water Release: Great Exploding Water Colliding WaveType: Supplementary/Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: This technique is a stronger version of exploding water colliding wave technique. The user will first perform the ram hand seal and then spits out a large amount of water that covers an entire area, with massive waves that can crush the opponent. The user then forms the water into a giant orb, instead of releasing like weaker version of the technique.
(Doton: Doro hebi no kiba) - Earth Release: Mud Snake FangType: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 40
Damage: 80 (+20)
Description: This unique earth technique can be performed in two ways, as a single stand alone technique which requires two handseals, Snake and Ram followed by the clapping of the hands. Using it in this form allows the user to manifest a portal similar to the earth release mud drop. However instead of normal mud forming in this portal a large torrent of mud shaped as snakes will pour out surrounding a target or targets and wrapping around them. The mud while not sentient can be controlled by hand gestures making it very difficult to avoid. The snakes are dense mud in nature much like the swamp of the underworld making their binding ability quite impressive preventing an enemy wrapped in them from moving freely. The second method of using this technique functions as more of a boosting enhancement performed by clapping the hands. This method of use is performed as a follow up to another earth or water technique and will cause the snakes to burst forth from the ground for water techniques or forming from the preexisting earth technique adding to the overall power of the former technique by adding additional chakra to the technique and a degree of versatility to the technique by making it function in a solid way. Essentially the previous technique will experience a change in power and ability by becoming the muddy snakes. This usage is considered as an active boost and follows the rules and restrictions of such.
Note: May be used two times per battle overall.
Note: If combined with a water technique in it's second form it will be considered a earth/water combo. Combined with a earth technique just creates a stronger Earth.
Note: No Earth jutsu above A rank in the following turn.
Note: The portal is made in the sky like the mud drop technique atleast 10m above the opponent
Note: May only be taught by Jhin
(Katon: Gōenkyū) - Fire Release: Great Blaze BallType: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user after performing two hand seals Horse → Tiger exhales a big-sized sphere of fire that carries the enemy away and causes a massive explosion on impact. The fire ball has a given solidity property to it, being able to punch through solid obstacles without exploding.
Through Indra, Killua could sense the usage of a technique, and as Arydn took his stance just as Killua's own earth/water combo made contact with the kunai, Killua would bite his tongue scraping the blood onto the tattoo with his teeth as he simultaneously performed a single hand-seal summoning forth a layer of adhesive shark flesh throughout the terrain up to mid-range. The shark flesh would bind Ardyn to the ground, and there would be a five meter area with Killua at the epicenter free of this flesh. Upon it's creation, a plethora of spikes would emerge from the flesh, racing towards Ardyn. This shark flesh would latch onto the shinobi upon creation as the spikes rose to skewer him. If Ardyn were to continue on with his strategy of splitting the wave, he would lose his chance at escaping the shark skin. Within the same time-frame of the shark flesh being spawned, Silva would perform two hand-seals releasing forth a dense fog of smoke that would be expelled from his body, reaching every corner of the field up to long range. Furthermore, the smoke would be passively released from Silva's body, and through Smoke's Mind Eye, Silva would be able to sense every molecule within the smoke field.Ardyn would watch with his trademark smirk as the opponent released a tremendous wave of water towards him, followed by a large maelstrom of snakes made of earth emerging from the ground and mixing in with the water heading towards him, deciding to defend himself quickly he would draw his Ani sword activating the first prayer, thanks to the Ani blade enhancing his prayers defensive capability, a single slash of his blade was enough to completely disrupt the oncoming attack, dispersing it leaving him unharmed. (Kamei Gigei: Fukutsu no Inori: Gokumonken) Command Art: Prayer of Fortitude: Prison Gate Sword
Rank:B
Type: Supplementary/Defense
Range: Self
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: A refinement of the First Prayer: Hikaru Aki Hasira, this technique expands the ability of the First Prayer. Where as Shinning Autumn Pillar is locked only to the user’s weapon, and forces them to stand in a specific stance, this technique turns it into a full on “Mode”, covering the entirety of the user’s body and thoroughly saturating it with the same effect; This allows the user to fight unhindered by having to remain in one stance, while also allowing the effects of the First Prayer to extend to their entire body. Besides this saturation, Gokumonken provides one extra effect: techniques that would be destroyed by the First Prayer’s effect can instead be reflected back at the opponent, taking the place of the First Prayer’s defensive ability, but still counting as an additional move per turn.
*Cannot be used unless the First Prayer is active.
*Remains active until the First Prayer wears off.
*Can only be used twice in a battle.
*Reflecting attacks back counts as a move per turn, and is bound by the limitations of the First Prayer's abilities of defense.
(Kamei Gigei: Raijinshō) Command Art: Raijin Rising
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A
Description: The Kenjutsu technique allows Swordsmen to more easily fight against Shinboi attacks of all sorts; the user will activate this technique by quickly focusing chakra into their weapon and spinning it in a complete circle in front of them. After this simple ritual is completed, a “magnetic” burst of chakra is released all around the user that causes all foreign chakra to be condensed as it approaches the user. Ultimately, the “magnetized” chakra will be drawn into the user’s weapon, effectively concentrating even large scale jutsu into simple, yet still equally powerful, streams or orbs, depending on the incoming techniques composition. This technique can easily be described as turning the user's weapon into a "Chakra Lightning-rod", thus the name.
*The strength of drawn in techniques does not diminish at all, and if the user doesn’t counter the techniques, the chakra will flow into the user’s body via the weapon and do full damage or preform its intended purpose
*Once activated, this remains active for four turns, but it’s effect is only valid while the user is holding a weapon.
*Only useable 4 times per battle.
*This jutsu only effects "non-solid" techniques like Wind, Fire, Lightning, Water, or objects like mud. Techniques with a sturdy molecular composition won't be affected by this technique, such as Earth or Ice, but does nothing to change their effects if they are not dealt with.
With the wave heading towards him, Ardyn would prepare to strike the wave, while simultaneously feeling the ground beneath his feet begin to shift. Realizing the opponent is trying to attack from below at the same time as the wave, Ardyn sheathed his blade activating another attack as he did. With the blade sheathing releasing a 360 degree burst of raw power around his person shredding the wave and the strange flesh like earth beneath him with it's overwhelming power. Leaving Ardyn protected from both attacks. With this done and the smoke spreading, Ardyn would activate the second prayer and Raijin Rising as originally planned.
Ikarusu no Naizō ▽ Innards of IcarusType: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A (60 if used with offensive intent)
Description: Mand'alor Indomitable created a very basic supplementary technique to be used in the ninja world, aiming to trap his targets instead of damaging them. Instead of reverse summoning the user and opponents into a cave or a belly, the user would expend thirty chakra and summon a layer of shark flesh over the surroundings up to mid range. From there, the shark flesh can be manipulated by the user to trap certain individuals. Alternatively, the user can form a hand seal to cause the shark flesh to protrude spikes, damaging anyone nearby.
▽ Can only be taught by Penguin
▽ Can only be used three times per conflict
▽ No shark ninjutsu above A-rank during this move
(Kemuri: Jouki Fogu) Smoke Style: Steaming FogType: Defensive | Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 20 (-10 to sustain smoke)
Damage: N/A
Description: A very useful smoke technique, that helps the user in multiple ways. The user will make one handseal. The user will then exert smoke from his body infused with the users chakra so the user is able to feel the presences of anybody in the smoke. The way this jutsu look is very similar to steam coming from the body but in a much heavier fashion. Causing smoke to spread up to long range of the user creating a very thick fog, even thicker than the hidden mist jutsu. This restricts the opponent from seeing further than 3 meters from their location. The smoke continues to emit from the users body and if the smoke was to be blown away by any means, the user can spend additional chakra points to emit additional amount of smoke to sustain the jutsu.
Note: Useable twice per battle (two-turn cooldown), with each use lasting three turns.
Note: Cant use any smoke jutsu above S rank while this technique is active
Note: The user is at risk of blowing away smoke with his own jutsus
(Kemuri Shingan) - Smoke Mind's EyeType: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 15 (- 5 per turn)
Damage points: N/A
Descrtiption: The user will do an additional Ram hand seal while performing a Smoke technique and gather more chakra into the smoke they are releasing from their body or wrist launcher/s and make it very sensible to obstacles it encounters. This does not change defensive nor offensive capabilities of the smoke but rather just adds a passive sensing ability. The user will be able to feel the changes that happen in the molecular bonds of smoke to the extent of distinguishing shapes and materials and correctly guessing the location of a certain mass and its movements. Accordingly, the user can tell when something has left or entered the area of their smoke. It is enough that the mass is only partially in the smoke to be subjected to sensing, as long as there is contact in any way. However, only the part that is actually in the smoke can be distinguished.
Notes:
- Usable only four times per battle.
- Lasts as long as smoke it was applied to remains under the user's control.
- Only takes a technique slot upon being initially activated.
- Can only be used by a Smoke user.
- Can only be taught by Thoth.
As Ardyn performed his 360 degree kenjutsu technique Killua would smirk, due to the Steaming Fog Jutsu's ability to passively be released the smoke would restore itself as fast as it was pushed back, making it as if the smoke was never affected at all. In response to the enemy technique Killua would knead his chakra and perform three hand-seals, and afterwards a gigantic destructive pillar of earth would emerge from a portal created five meters behind Ardyn, the hand-seals would serve to shroud this colossal pillar of earth in a veil of wind, that would make it completely and totally silent. All these techniques would be performed within the same time-frame, the portal would be made so that the rising pillars would exhibit no vibration effect, notifying the adversary of its creation. While the smoke and the fact the portal was created behind the opponent would serve to prevent visual detection, and the veil of wind would negate any sound created from the technique. The sheer size of the technique, and the fact that it was created within short range of the user would make it incredibly difficult to evade.
(Kamei Gigei: Dai ni no Inori: Zekkyōdan) Command Art: Second Prayer: Broken Mirror Severing
Rank: S
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 40
Damage: 80 +20 = 100
Description: The second in the “Prayer” series of Command Arts, Zekkyōdan differs in its working depending on if the user’s blade is being resheathed or drawn, though in both cases the move is a strange type of Battōjutsu, meaning that it involves multiple cuts. In the event that the sword is being sheathed, there is a quick flash as the blade’s guard meets the top of the scabbard, during which a chakra burst creates a countless number of cuts in a 360 degree short-range dome around the user, shredding any incoming attack to dust; this being the defensive variant of the move. When unsheathing the blade, however, the affect is “launched”; that is, when the blade is unsheathed, a cyclone of chakra is shot forward, with the chakra inside the cone-like structure acting as tiny knives, shredding that which they come into contact with; this is the offensive variant of the move.
*Cannot be used unless the first “Prayer” has been activated.
*Can only be used once per turn.
*Due to needing to reset their stance, this move cannot be used back-to-back, even between turns, meaning another technique must be used in between uses.
*The same version of this move cannot be used consecutively – meaning, if the defensive variant is used first, the offensive variant must be used the next time the technique is used.

Ardyn would focus on the fog reforming. It would not suit him to remain where he was for a long period of time, but he needed to ensure he was defended for as long as possible. He knew his opponent would likely know his position since he hadn't moved yet, but Ardyn himself wasn't sure if the opponent had moved. Deciding to cover the entire area in a large scale area of effect move, Ardyn would note the large shadow on the ground appearing to cover him, this let him know an attack was coming from the rear. Thanks to the fog refracting light any large enough body would still cast a shadow on the ground, especially one so large as the attack that seemed to be coming from the rear. Additionally it wasn't simply the shadow that alerted him to the danger but the tearing sound on the earth. Since the spear was so large in proportion whilst Ardyn was only around 6 foot tall, the base of the spear would begin piercing the earth beneath itself as it emerged from behind him. Spinning quickly on the spot Ardyn swung his blade in a full 360 degree radius, creating a large almost glass like sheet of chakra which shattered firing shards of chakra like glass in all directions, towards the opponent and his clone as well as destroying the earthen pillar.
As Ardyn performed his 360 degree kenjutsu technique Killua would smirk, due to the Steaming Fog Jutsu's ability to passively be released the smoke would restore itself as fast as it was pushed back, making it as if the smoke was never affected at all. While the smoke and the fact the portal was created behind the opponent would serve to prevent visual detection, and the veil of wind would negate any sound created from the technique. The sheer size of the technique, and the fact that it was created within short range of the user would make it incredibly difficult to evade.
(Doton: Kujo Joushou Iwa Chuuseki) - Earth Release: Destructive Rising Rock PillarsType: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Mid-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: This jutsu causes gigantic pillars of rock to forcefully emerge from the ground. This is a even greater scaled Earth Release: Rising Spikes and is large enough to impale a summoning technique.
Earth Release: Expedited ExcavationType: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: Expedited Excavation is a unique jutsu which is used in conjunction with earth techniques which are typically used in conjunction with an earth source such as the ground. Through means similar to the Sticky Earth Drop and Dropping Lid jutsus, the user will open a portal which will release the earth jutsu from a source of earth inside it. As the size of the portals scales with the size of the jutsu, they can be quite large, though the jutsu will only ever summon one at a time. This useful ability is however majorly limited. Not only will the user will be unable to open portals from a short range radius around an enemy, but they will also be unable to use this jutsu in conjunction with any of the earth jutsu which are released outside of an earth source (earth jutsu fired from the mouth, those which appear from the sky, etc). Furthermore, these portals can only be used in conjunction with earth jutsu, and must be formed at least five meters away from the opponent. After it is released from the portal, the earth jutsu will function as it normally does, with no added benefits. If a jutsu requires hands on the ground to perform, it won't be able to be released from a portal.
Note: Usable four times per battle, with a two turn cooldown.
Note: Cannot be used in conjunction with Mountain Smash or any Forbidden ranked jutsu.
(Futon: Burakku Susabādo) — Wind Release: Emboldened Black ScabbardType: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: After performing an attack whether elemental or something as simple as launching a kunai the user will perform an additonal three hand-seals. The user will concentrate wind chakra onto said object or technique. The wind simply shroud's the technique, the shroud in no way increases the damage or effects the properties of the technique in any other way then the purpose of this jutsu. It's purpose is to mute and negate any sound that the technique might make. Wind Release, being the natural weakness to sound is effective in muffling and distorting sound. The user uses the wind in order to form a barrier of sorts to surround techniques. The shroud prevent's the technique itself from making sounds like the sound a sharp projectile makes when it cuts through the air etc, by preventing contact to the air surrounding the projectile. Moreover, since air is the medium in which sound travels the wind is effective in negating the sound any non-energy based element makes, the whooshing of water, crumbling of earth, etc all these sounds that are produced when forming and launching certain techniques are contained by the wind barrier. Granted this technique does not account for the vibrations created by earth techniques or techniques that move through the earth. However, for techniques moving throughout the air such as a spear of water, or the throwing of a kunai. The wind is capable of counteracting sound outside and inside the shroud. This technique does not take up a slot in time-frame but will consume a move-slot upon use.
Note: Can only be taught by Jᴀʏ
Note: Cannot be used for techniques created underground, or energy-based techniques.
Huh...Ardyn would focus on the fog reforming.
With this done Ardyn would activate yet another prayer ability, the circling water slash which augmented his raijin rising in to a permanent mode.
Kamei Gigei: Rekkyōdan) Command Art: Violent Mirror Severing
Type: Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage: 80
Description: A technique based upon the premises of two of Keotsu's other Command Arts - his signature shockwave Kougenjin, and a Prayer technique known as Zekkyōdan, Rekkyōdan aims to push the principles of these attacks to their absolute limits. The user will gather chakra around their blade, coating in it a glass like layer; swinging the blade breaks the high tension layer of chakra and projects it forward, like the fragments of a broken mirror. The user can control the spread over the shattered attack, allowing it to cover either wide area to affect multiple opponents, or focus it into a tight cone to strike an individual adversary. No matter the scope of the area covered by the attack, though, the technique always launches 80 individual shockwaves. Like all Command Art shockwaves, Rekkyōdan can cut through any material the blade used to launch it can cut, meaning a sufficiently sharp blade could cut through nearly any material, and like Kougenjin it moves a twice the normal rate of traditional shockwaves.
*Note: Can be used up to three times per turn, with a cooldown of turns equal to the number of times it was used.
*Note: Launches 80 shockwaves with a single use.
(Kamei Gigei: Ensuizan)Command Art: Circling Water Slash
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30 (-5 per turn)
Damage: N/A
Description: A refinement on the Kenjtusu technique (Kamei Gigei: Raijinshō) Command Art: Raijin Rising, which turned the user's blade into a virtual lightning rod for chakra, which allowed them to more easily handle techniques that the swordsman would come against. This technique is activated by focusing more chakra into the user's blade, and then spinning it in a figure eight while the parent technique is active. This technique empowers the abilities of Raijinshō, now allowing it to affect any technique with chakra in it, regardless of its composition (with the exceptions of things like modes, which is obviously illogical), by augmenting the "magnetized" chakra released by said technique. This means Ensuizan allows Raijinsho to affect solid techniques where it didn't before, such as Doton and Ice, as well as having enough force in the "magnetic pull" that it can pull foreign chakra within the user's bodies into the sword itself (such as Genjutsu), though Ensuizan does nothing to negate the abilities of such techniques. A by-product of this technique is that if Raijinshō turns the user's blade into a lightning rod, this turns the user's blade into a divining rod; the sword will gently sway, if allowed, towards the largest source of foreign chakra present on the field; akin to a compass with magnetic north, or a divining rod with water.
Note: This technique makes (Kamei Gigei: Raijinshō) Command Art: Raijin Rising last indefinitely, so long as a -5 chakra cost is payed every turn for technique upkeep.
Note: This technique allows for (Kamei Gigei: Raijinshō) Command Art: Raijin Rising to affect any technique that heads towards the user, and will change the trajectory to the user's blade; however, like the original technique, this does nothing to stop the effects of the techniques that are drawn towards the blade, unless they are dealt with.
Note: User must retain a sword in hand for the technique to remain in effect.
Note: Useable twice per battle.
Firstly, if you want me to check something, asking would be nice. I did say I would check it via discord but you still would have to ask me. Secondly, include the link in your initial vm and finally, try to take a more neutral tone instead of resorting to swearing in your explanations. I understand it can be frustrating when talking about a move, but I don't need to have it here too.Jay said:Ok so a few things with ReX's move.
1. In regards to the earth pillar, he has no means of detection. The sound is silenced by Black Scabbard, the Expedited Excavation eliminates all vibration with the ground, and I say it literally makes no sound. I assumed the fact that the pillar wouldn't make contact with the ground was obvious given my intentions. I think him adding that detail is power-playing, as for the shadow there is a smoke field surrounding us, I have no idea how there would be a shadow much less how he would see it. These aren't Nara shadows mind you. Not to mention he kinda power-playing the position of the sun like for all he knows it could be ****ing night time.
2. With no means of detection there would be no reason he would continue on with his last move which would get him killed, and theres no justification for this current move.
Also, since I don't think I clarified this, it's not that Rex won't be able to see, its that there wouldn't be a shadow.
ReXii said:In reply to what Jay wrote.
1 I have several means of detection present in my post itself. First was the shadows. His move prevents me from seeing more than 3 meters away, the pillar starts five meters away, the canon version of the pillars scaling to a normal person is roughly 20-30 meters in width and over 100 meters in length. Being as it's formed from behind me, note he didn't say angled from above but directly behind. Means a shadow would be cast in front of me. To add further to this the portal being formed behind me as he stated means it's roughly 1.5 meters from the floor max, the pillar itself as stated has a 20-30 meter width, as such the pillar itself being silenced is meaningless because due to it's width it will hit the ground below myself and the portal which it is about a meter and a half above. This will create sound as the technique he used only silences his move and specifically states it can't silence the vibrations of the earth. Especially earth it's hitting and not even part of the technique.
Meaning it it technically formed Mid-range from Ardyn, which is a safe distance away from him so as it actually doesn't hurt him. The portal adapts to the size of the jutsu and summoning such a large jutsu from it would push it back out of a harmful reach, especially since the portal won't have any part of it within short-range. I believe the second problem comes from the lack of description about how the rock pillar was formed/used to attack. Traditionally it is formed from the ground, but Killua used the portal to not only reduce ground vibrations but assuming he also planned to use it to angle the pillar. However, Jay doesn't state how the pillar is formed or any specifics related to that, meaning I default to the pillar rising upwards in its usual fashion... and with it being Mid-range away from Ardyn, posing no threat to him.the user will be unable to open portals from a short range radius around an enemy
Why would I launch my pillar upwards when I launching it at him? I literally dint know why I'm doing this but I'm calling a second check.Firstly, if you want me to check something, asking would be nice. Moving on to actually checking things, which I'll do below the quote from ReXii.
So the problem would be whether or not Ardyn would have a means of detection in regards to Killua's Rock Rising Pillar. For some clarification, the pillar is formed outside of Short-range:
Meaning it it technically formed Mid-range from Ardyn, which is a safe distance away from him so as it actually doesn't hurt him. The portal adapts to the size of the jutsu and summoning such a large jutsu from it would push it back out of a harmful reach, especially since the portal won't have any part of it within short-range. The status of the Sun, or if it's night time was not specified in the opening post of the fight, so I'm not touching too much on the shadow. However, assuming the portal if off the ground to some extent, the pillar falling back to the ground would make a sound. Again, it's harmless from what I gather so Ardyn is over-reacting a little bit but it's a fight.
Anyway, Jay just needs to continue on to counter ReXii's move.
Don't @me or vm me about this at all. I don't see myself readily changing this.
No you're not, continue the fight. Why would I launch my pillar upwards when I launching it at him? I literally dint know why I'm doing this but I'm calling a second check.
With the opponents water jutsu hitting his own shockwave and the two cancelling each other out (as discussed) Ardyn would have continued with his former action activating the circling water slash. This allowed him to use the magnetic pull of his blade to it's fullest extent. This would while the water bullet and shockwave collided. Following up and having had more than enough of his opponents smoke screen, Ardyn focuses a tremendous amount of chakra. Keeping his hand on the hilt of his blade he forms a single seal. Releasing a huge wall of tornado's. Five in total, aimed to blast the smoke back and hit the opponent and his clone at their last known location. Ending the smoke technique with overwhelming force. Two handseals were formed maintaining contact with the blade after the tornado's were released adding more chakra to them, causing them to become larger and more powerful.Killua could sense through Indra that his adversary had somehow caught wind of the earth pillar launched from behind him, in response to the omni-directional shock-wave that would surely destroy the duo should it not be countered. Killua would mold his water chakra, taking a deep breath before he would release an enormous torrent of water that would shield both Silva and Killua, and be blasted forward towards Ardyn and the shockwave. This water easily tank the attack as it had been reduced in power by the earth Killua had spawned. As the water bullet blasted forward towards Ardyn, Silva would exhale a smoke with the same color and density of the smoke released prior, however this smoke screen would be toxic, and suffocate Ardyn should he be exposed to it for long. This would happen in the same time-frame, the smoke would merge with the smoke released prior.
(Suiton: Suidan no Jutsu) - Water Release: Water Bullet TechniqueType: Offensive/Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 40
Damage: 80
Description: The user inhales and molds a great amount of chakra into their chest, exhaling a very large quantity of water in the form of a powerful torrent towards their intended target. The stream of water is so powerful and concentrated it can rip through most obstacles in its path. The stream itself contains so much concentrated water that it can flood medium to large sized depressions of the battle field in relatively short amounts of time.
(Senpuku Kemuri Kangoku no Jutsu) - Blinding Smoke Screen TechniqueType: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Long
Chakra: 40
Damage points: N/A (-20 to each target per turn)
Description: While engaged in battle and wishing to retreat tactfully, the user will create an extremely thick smokescreen from their mouths that will blind the enemy and cause them to cough violently. The user can then attack freely. Inside this smoke screen, targets will struggle to breathe and see as the smoke not only hinds their eyesight, but causes them to breathe properly. Three turns inside the smoke screen will cause any target to pass out.
Note: If used under a smoke-like state, the user can expel the smoke from his own body into a radius around him.
Note: Only useably by bios that've learned Smoke Ninjutsu.
