I thought I'd make a thread showing how overpowered some characters in the manga really are when you look deeply enough and apply their powers right. There's been a trend in people, due to the new powers being revealed, forget just how powerful previous characters have been and get underestimated a lot. I thought I'd start off with Nagato since I've been debating with him in a VS thread. However, in other threads, I'll be covering other characters. People kinda tend to think that deva and preta path are the only usefull powers, but I'll cover the other ones as well and demonstrate how they're potentially OP as well.
First off, I'd like to show this scan.
The speed and strength of Nagato's 6 paths are greater than that of Pain's. In other words, the examples I'm showing you of Pain is something Nagato can do but on a completely different scale, and in all likelihood, charge time and time intervals for the jutsus are lower hence "faster"
Deva Path:
2. Asura path
3. Animal path.
4. Preta path.
5. Human Path
This is basically a one-shot ability.
6. Hell Path
Basically the reviving power is only really useful with Pain. Don't know what it can do for Nagato.
Nagato is also a high-level sensor who demonstrates the ability to sense ninjutsu before they're even used.

First off, there's almighty push. It can repel ninjutsu. It's also a very impressive offensive technique. Here's a feat from Pain.
Almighty push sent gigantic toads far away as if they were weightless. It also broke every bone in Gamabunta's body. Here's an example of what Gamabunta can tank.
Gamabunta can tank that, but gets one-shotted by almighty push. I don't need to get into why this is powerful. There's also the fact that Nagato's is stronger.
There's also universal pull. The name is deceptive. It implies that it only pulls. however, that's not the only thing it does.
What's important to note hear is that he's "pulling" something towards Naruto and not himself. In other words, it's like telekinesis. He can manipulate an object it any way he chooses. For instance.....
(don't hate me Sasuke fans)
Then there's planetary devastation. As you know, it sucks everything up into it. However, those dragged into it get crushed.
Going by Naruto's statements, the 9 tails enabled him to escape before he was crushed, implying that biju or not, if you get too far into it, you'll be crushed. What takes this jutsu down is TBB+ransenshuriken+yasaka magatama, which means most cannot destroy this technique and will fall victim to it.

This is easily one of Nagato's most underestimated abilities. It can turn any part of his body into weapons. 1 of his weapons are missiles. I don't need to get into how missles are deadly since you all know that missiles can home in and are powerful.
He also likes energy cannons that are pretty darn powerful.
Considering Nagato's are more powerful, imagine what this cannon could do.
This means Nagato's a beast with ranged attacks as well, and can use asura path in order to preserve deva path.
This ability also allows him to form multiple heads and limbs, which kind of makes attacking behind pointless.
It also enables him to make rockets to propel him.

3. Animal path.
We all know what this does. Nagato can summon multiple animals at one time, and since they're gigantic, they pose threats. The shared vision makes it virtually impossible to catch him off guard (unless you're Itachi)
Some notable summons is the chameleon which is invisible, which obviously has its uses. However, if Nagato's inside, he can attack from it with deva path.
There's also the dog that multiplies the more you hit it.
The fact that Nagato has flying summons enables for aerial bombardments via asura path.

4. Preta path.
It absorbs ninjutsu and chakra very quickly. What is there to say? Senjutsu is its weakness since Nagato can't control it, however, this is only a problem if he absorbs all the senjutsu chakra of a sage, which means, realistically, the only sages that can give him this overdose is Naruto and Hashirama.
5. Human Path
This is basically a one-shot ability.
6. Hell Path
