Warning: Violent, and bloody.

Blood splattered across the walls as something invisible to the naked eye violently sliced the two young boys in half. The girl in the middle of the room was in tears not for the dead boys, she was glad they were dead, but for the puppy that lay lifeless just a few feet away from her.
A young boy by the name of Michael stood at the door, mortified by the sight. She stepped towards him, an arm outstretched towards him, inviting him closer. He stepped backwards, fear in his eyes. He turned and ran from the room, leaving the girl even more broken inside then before.
She ran after him, tears pouring out of her eyes with every step. Michael burst out of the back door of the school building, and went to the only place he felt he would be safe; his home. He had always been aware that there was a monster that lived in this small little town he called home, but he had no idea it would be human, much less his best friend.
Michael took the shortcut through the forest, getting scraped and cut by branches as he ran. He popped out onto the road and ran a little farther, until he was outside the city limits. He dashed down a dirt road, off to the right of the road, towards his house. He reached his house in three minutes, record time for running along the dirt road.
He burst in the front door and immediately locked it and bombarded it with chairs and other heavy objects. In the kitchen, his mother asked what had him so riled up. When he responded, he stuttered his words, but he managed to get out the words ?demon? and ?chasing me.?
His father, who was sitting on the couch, heard his son?s words and knew immediately what he meant. He walked into the hallway and disappeared. He reappeared a few minutes later, with a .45 caliber pistol.
?Where is it son?? His father asked, calmly.
Michael couldn?t say anything. All he could do was point at the door right before they heard a knock. Everything fell silent in the house as the knock repeated. A few moments past, when the door and all the items blocking it, suddenly shredded into millions of pieces and a small girl with silver hair stood in the doorway, tears pouring from her eyes, and a crazed look on her face.
Without a second thought, Michael?s father unloaded the entire magazine onto the girl, but the bullets turned to dust a few inches from her chest. Michael whimpered as he watched his father be ripped into pieces by an invisible force. His mother screamed and threw a knife at the girl, but before she could reach for another one, the knife had flown back at her, piercing in between her eyes, killing her instantly. Michael began to step backwards as he saw that he was going to be the next target.
His heel caught the ground, sending him stumbling onto the ground. She stepped forward, and he whimpered in fear. Suddenly, his dog Rufus came running through the front door, it looked as if he might be saved, but his hopes were destroyed when Rufus was ripped apart, splashing blood all over Michael. The young girl stepped forward, hovering over Michael?s half conscious body, tears streaming down her face, and the crazed look was gone. Instead of seeing a crazed, cold-blooded murderer, Michael saw a sad, scared little girl who needed comfort and someone to love her. Michael closed his eyes, and felt no pain.
