Naruto?s growth, and a New Ally.
Naruto charged towards Sasuke, and he then pulled out Kusari-Gama (Sickle with a weight at the end). He threw the weighted end at Sasuke, catching him by surprise. Sasuke then tried cutting it with his Katana, but to no avail, the chains held stong. ?Those are reinforced with pure chakra, there?s no way you?re getting through!? Naruto boasted, putting his hand on the metal part of the Kusari-Gama . Sasuke smiled at Naruto?s fatal mistake, and then used Chidori Nagashi (1000 Birds Current). The electric charge surged up the metal, into Naruto?s body. He went limp, and then slumped to the ground, his body to numb to move. ?Looks like you?re the one who?s not getting out of this!? Sasuke sneered. He removed the Kama from around him, and then raised his Katana to stab Naruto. Suddenly, something slimy, and wet washed over Sasuke. As it bowled him, he got a peek at who the attacker was. He crashed to the ground, and then looked up. It was a yellow toad, with orange markings around his eyelids, and lips. The toad?s tongue enveloped Naruto, and then he looked down at Sasuke, pulling out 3 lunar staffs.
? Looks like your gonna hafta deal with me now!? Gamatatsu said. Man, Naruto owes me a bundle of snacks for this?. I?ll just have to hold him off until the numbness wears off. Gamtatsu sprung into the air, 30 m high. Sasuke latched onto his back, his chakra focused on the soles of his feet as he clinged to him. Gamatatsu realized he had an uninvited guest aboard, and he spun his tongue in circles while heading to the ground. He put a lunar staff into his tongue, and two in his hands. With his flexible tongue, He managaed to swat Sasuke off of his back after many unsuccessful swipes.
When he landed on the ground, he felt a spike of chakra inside him, that told him Naruto wanted to go with that idea. Gamatatsu prepared himself, and then announced Mikadzuki no Mai) - Dance of the Crescent Moon. He swallowed the staff held in his tongue. Instead of creating clones, Gamatatsu made his swords swirl in very complex movements, and he swirled his tongue towards Sasuke. Sasuke wasn?t fooled by any of it, and he stabbed Tatsu?s tongue to the ground. Gamatatsu?s then felt four feet run at full speed on his tongue. Two Naruto?s appeared with a swirling Oodama Fuuton Rasegan in between them. They aimed towards Sasuke?s hand, and made him take a hasty retreat. Naruto then slammed his rasegan into the sword. It grinded it into thousands of pieces, that glittered on the ground. ?Fall back Gamatatsu, or you?ll get hit by the impact!? The rasegan still intact, they kept running forward towards Sasuke. He activated his Sharingan, and swiftly came behind one of the Naruto?s, kicking them upwards. The assault was made on a clone, which then dissipated. Unable to keep the rasengan, Naruto then released the technique.
Seeing his chance, Sasuke kicked Naruto upwards with the same kick, propelling him in the air. Naruto wasn?t left alone for a second, for as soon as his body left the ground, Sasuke?s was trailing after him. Sasuke then performed his famous lion?s barrage combo, but added something in it that astonished Naruto. Sasuke flipped Naruto over so that he could see him, and then used his Mangykou Sharingan. Time to awaken the beast within Naruto? then we will truly see how much he?s grown. A raspy voice told him in the back of his mind. Sasuke pushed that thought out of his head? he had something else in mind.
Tears freely fell down Kakashi?s check as he recounted the tale that would forever haunt his life. ?So that?s why you must die for the wrong you have brought.? Kakashi finished off. His clones and him all raised their their hands that crackled like thunder, and started raising them up. Kakashi looked into the eyes of Suigetsu, and saw unbelievable fear, and respect in the ninja?s eyes. He lowered his hand as Suigetsu started whispering ?I never knew what it felt like to be recognized as an important person.? ?That was the the only reason I tried to become one of the 7 Swordsman of the Mist? I thought I?d be acknowledged.? He murmured. ?But now that I know the price that comes with it, I don?t think I am, or ever will be ready for that? That Uzamaki kid Sasuke always talks about? He says he loves him more than Itachi.? Kakashi?s eyes widened at the statement. ?He says he?d do anything to be with you guys, if only fate hadn?t turned out the way it did??
?Enough about fate though?? He said. ?I guess I was a fool to ever dream of being wanted.. Kakashi, please end it quickly.? He finished. Kakashi raised his hand, but instead of thrusting it into Suigetsu?s heart, he ended his shadow clone technique. ?After hearing what you?ve said, I think I?ve found a better use for you.? Kakashi mused. ? But first, you?ll have to swear your loyalty to the Hidden Leaf.? ?If I ever betray the Hidden Leaf, my soul is forever the Shinigami?s.? Suigetsu said. Kakashi helped Suigetsu up, and then started telling him the plan.
