Chapter 2: Karin, Juugo, and Suigetsu track down Naruto?s comrades!
Location: The Fire Country, in the Forest where all the genins fought the Sound 5.
Karin leapt in the air, then landed, holding out two fingers. ?Seems like it?s a 2 boys, and 1 girl!? she informed them. ?I pity the fools waiting for us!? Suigetsu bragged. They continued on their trek, and Karin replied saying ?Stop trying to be cool like Sasuke, you?ll probably be beaten the fastest.!? The continued on arguing, while Juugo stayed out of the conversation. Karin made another hand sign, and they knew the enemy was right above them. They leapt down from the trees , only to be ambushed from the sky. They turned around to see who it was, and Sai was flying down on a bird made out of ink. He performed some hand signs, and then created a dragon, which flew towards Juugo. ?Karin, I thought you had them detected?!? Juugo cried out, as he activated his curse mark to level one, swinging at the dragon and making it explode. ?I can detect their general whereabouts, but how was I supposed to know they?d attack from the sky?? She replied, landing daintly on the ground.
Kakashi, and Sakura ran out joining Sai. Kakashi?s eyes widened as he caught a glance at what was attached to Suigetsu?s back. He saw Zabuza?s sword, and he furrowed his brow in fury. ?How dare you have such low disrespect for the dead!? Kakashi growled, pointing a kunai at Suigetsu. Suigetsu rasied a brow, and replied with ?What?s it to you anyway?? Kakashi lifted the mask off of his left eye, revealing his Sharingan, and said to his comrades ?I?ll take him on you two.? Him and Suigetsu ran up the trees, and went off to start their fued. Karin looked up and down at Sakura, and spat. ?So, are you that brat that Sasuke-Kun had clinging to his arm while he was in the Hidden Leaf?? Sakura threw looks of daggers at Karin, and stepped within an inch of her face. ?Try saying that again, I didn?t hear you!? She dared. Karin smiled, and opened her mouth. ? I said, are you that brat that Sasuke-Ku-!?? Her sentence was cut short, as Sakura delivered a fistful of chakra in her gut. Karin flew backwards, the breath lost in the air. ?Looks like I?ll have to take out the trash, Sai. And for the record missy, I?m OVER him!? Sakura said.
?Well it looks like I have no choice but to take you on.? Sai said emotion masked from his face. Him and Juugo calmly walked from the scene, and then started fighting. ?I?m sorry, but it seems like my job is to eliminate you.? Sai said. Juugo smiled, and said ?I wouldn?t have minded that once in my life.? He then took out a kunai. ?But it looks like you and your friends are going down!?
