I agree man! He was kidnapped and since then its like he's been completely forgotten about. Maybe he's dead? I'd be disappointed but he's been like the only death this war so i guess someone had to die.

I think we might see him once the war is over. It's possible they needed to keep him alive for him to help power the zetsus, and he is just incapacitated. I don't see a Yamato rescue mission happening as there's too much going on right now to worry about 1 guy.
