I didn't mind it too much. Wasn't big on the TnJ idea but I'm liking the way it's going, Naruto seems to be showing his growth. I also liked the flashbacks, it was great development for Obito and Rin as well. The artwork was done pretty well too, I thought it was better than usual but maybe that's just me. I'm just not liking the idea of Obito being forgiven for everything he's done. Seems like a bad move plot wise since he's the cause of so much but I guess we'll see. He's always been one of my favorites but I'm hoping Obito dies in an attempt to atone for his crimes.

True,but you don't always make them turn good at the drop of a hat either.

Who says he's turning good? For all we know he could just Punch Naruto in the heart.

I thought it was a beautiful chapter as well, it illustrated the conflicts of everyday life. (Taking easy way out vs trying hard)

Obito and Naruto have been going at it for a couple of volumes now.
Its not like its out of no where change
Its not like its impossible to persuade someone who is regretful
BTW we don't know what will become of obito.

From what I've seen Naruto has Obito backed into a corner.

Actually, I really like this chatper.

This TNJ is a bit different. Naruto isn't spouting bullshit about forgiving and forgetting. He's accepting that he can't forgive Obito but will allow him to "redeem" himself.

Two, Naruto talks about punishment. This seems different than before where he'd willingly just accept a bad guys decision after they turned good. Seems even he accepts that Obito has done a lot of bad shit and nobody can just look away.

This showed a bit more maturity than his previous "BELIEVE IN ME!" statements.

Naruto is actually SCOLDING Obito, something he hasn't really done before.

Why don't people like this chapter? it was amazing.
I didn't want to see Sasuke/Naruto's friendship power again, we've had a huge battle with Obito already and this chapter makes me excited, for in the next few we could be seeing..

a) Obito vs Naruto, no sasuke, no k11 bs.
b) Obito joins the alliance, this means MADARA is final villian = More story and it will finally prove that Madara >>>Hashirama * huehuehue) I just want to see more Madara.

in any case, it's good to see that Obito still has feelings, and that he really does want peace. It was boring when he was just the same as Madara..

Summed up perfectly, I don't dislike the power-ups, and the epic battles, but we've had like nonstop powerups and epic battles..

I ain't complaining, this isn't the same as normal either. Naruto's matured.

he is one of the worst villains i've known ever in a series. only gets trumped for #1 worst villain by future rogue.

I loved the chapter, it showed maturity on Naruto's part and it was pretty interesting to see Obito doubting himself and we learn why Rin was so important to him.
