Once again, the majority of the British public that they don't give a damn about facts and are set to drop a nuke on the bridge that is our EU membership. Through blind hate (or just for wanting to get angry about something), we could well see Britain sink into a recession despite ongoing austerity.

Hoo bloody ray. At this point, I can only.

I really hope they do leave the EU though. Better for me.

What are the pros and cons to EU membership?

Steering away from a central economy is for the best

What are the pros and cons to EU membership?

Pros:

- For every £1 we put in, we get (roughly) £10 back in the form of trade deals etc.
- No tariffs so we can trade with other countries in Europe for free. We also get a say in how the EU's market is run.
- Free movement within other EU countries.
- Million+ extra jobs.

Cons:

- A little control over borders is lost.
- Some inefficient EU policies.

The "cons" that have been presented are nearly all refutable, as they only show half of the picture or are downright lies. (E.g. "The EU costs us such and such a week"... ignoring how much more we get back.) ("We've got no control over borders"... when we actually have nearly full control over them.)

This will probably trigger a loss of confidence in the british market leading to another recession and sterling's devaluation in the long term. Younger generations will pay the price of prejudiced britain as always. Very sad.
