Breaking Bad

Now yesterday I just started watching Breaking Bad so no spoilers, but I'm on Ep. 5 and I'm wondering if it gets more. . .interesting is the wrong word but I don't know any other.

Where would you rate it on your scale of a good show, say 1-5?

Any final thoughts that would help me enjoy it?

It definitely gets more interesting, give it a some time.

I'd rate it as a 3.5/4, the show is way overrated and i'm being generous when I added four, it has it's moments that could place it there though.

Edit: It has (5) scenes to, just not often. Thought i'd add that.

I was hooked on the first episode,though how your not interested by the end of the second episode confuzzles me to no end.


The show is great.

It uses color as a powerful symbolizer and sets up future shots that call back previous greater scenes without being to heavy handed.
Amazing cinematography
Characters are not there to just be red shirts and are never forgotten about.
Never any loose ends.

A show where you truly (and i do not say this lightly) never knows whats going to happen next.

It was really good, but for some odd reason I didnt really get into it until season 4-5. I still liked the earlier seasons though.

It's a good show, but a bit overrated. I lost interest halfway through the 3rd season so I never finished it. I would give it a 3.5 out of 5, only because the way I rate shows, I wouldn't watch anything 3 and under, The Walking Dead is by far the best show on now I think, though I was a bit disappointed with last nights Season premiere.

I didn't say I wasn't enjoying, it just seems a little slow paced right now.

Its known for simmering down after a huge moment.

The down times are never a chore to watch either.

If it is not for you then idk but,if you stick with it you will love it.

The Walking Dead is great but,the acting,dialogue and overall story structure doesn't hold a candle to breaking bad.
It just doesn't.

And i am not surprised by the fact that a few people on her say it is overrated or don't watch it considering this is a forum for anime an entirely different form of media entertainment.

And just fyi to all those who say its overrated.Something ain't overrated because you yourself don't like it.It just means you fail to realize a good show.


And yes i say fail because there is no other way to put it

they just fcuking leave everything whenever and wherever they want.... and then just pick it up just when they feel like it..!!

when they have something priority thing to show in this show, they just neglect everything else that happened in the previous episode and continue as if nothing happened...thats not how it works.!!

i wud say even vampire diaries stomps this show when it comes to storytelling, and vd isnt even that good.!!

breaking bad is just mediocre.!!

Ok, now you've gone as far as to say someone isn't smart enough to understand the show just because they don't like it. You don't have to bash someone because they don't like the show lol The show is overrated, period. There are plenty of people who agree with me, as they do you, so all in all it's just a matter of opinion. Yea, the show has good analogies and has a great structure, but that all means nothing if it's too boring, it's missing that key component.

I like the show, but again, it's too boring and not enough action, The Walking Dead is where it's at.
