In Breaking Bad Season 3 Episode 11, Gus tells/threatens Walt to "Never make the same mistake twice." The 'mistake' was Jesse cutting the meth (stealing). But why did Gus get mad? It didn't affect his 200 pounds a week quota so what was so bad?

I'm kinda confused.. Gus asked for 200 pounds a week and as long as that quota was met, their relationship would stay neutral. The quota was met but he was mad for Jesse taking half a pound and still providing extra meth (201.9 pounds)

They even provided 1.9 pounds extra. I don't understand the logic here. Is Gus afraid that they might steal the entire batch and deal it themselves if they continue that way?

Someone please explain, thanks.

He does not want Jesse to get caught and rat them out (what alot of people do) if he sells the "blue product". He doesn't want Jesse to end up getting caught with it, with intent to distribute. He wants no heat from the DEA and he will not run the risk of Jesse getting caught and ratting him out. Simple really, he also just doesn't want people stealing from his batch.

Thanks! Makes sense :)

He was pissed because Jesse was selling it. Gus doesn't want competition.
That's what I had in mind but then I thought Gus would've 'taken care' of him if he was worried and I was left confused. You're right.

Like Uchiha Mike said, if Jesse got caught selling he would've instantly sold out Walter (he said it in the hospital)

I agree with that. The reason he didn't "take care" of him was because Walter would not have cooked for him anymore.
