This thread contains spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen the latest episode of Breaking Bad.
In the lastest episode of Breaking Bad, it ended with Hank and Gomie having a shoot-out with Todd and his uncles. I think Todd and his uncles will kill either Hank or Gomie or Jesse or all of them in this shootout. Todd will also die. They will then force Walt to cook for them, which will lead to the timeskip we saw at the beginning of 5B. Wanting revenge for killing Hank and/or Jesse and to get himself free from cooking, Walt purchased that gun from the guy in the beginning of Season 5, he plans to take on Todd's uncles. This is also why he got to ricin, to further make sure that they die.
