What difference does that make exactly? Being stronger than something doesn't mean you and that thing aren't both susceptible to something else.

I like your post since you know the fact that Hashirama is vulnerable to genjutsu. And instead of saying no because he has a lot of chakra like everybody says you show how he can avoid the eye contact and showed his experience.

But yes, he can get caught if he lets his guard down, and even to someone if he doesn't know his jutsus.
