Bravest Naruto character?

If Sakura went against Pain people will say how dumb she is and that this is why she is useless. Hinata did it for a boy who spoke to her twice and everyone is saying she is brave.

Hinata went against pain to save the doomed naruto, but sakura rushed madara too look cool. Lol

I'd call that reckless and stupid but let's just roll with it because I can't think of a better example other than Sasuke in the forest of death. He was scared shitless at first but showed courage in the end while knowing he's completely outmached. The difference is just that Hinata could've run and Sasuke coudln't before anyone asks.

Courage defintion: the ability to do something that frightens one.
No one would of fought pain alone, because he destroyed the village moments ago. Yet Hinata did, was it reckless and stupid? Yes.
Did it display courage? About the same amount of courage Minato/Kushina portrayed when they gave their lives (mostly Minato though, because Kushina was already on the brink of death) for Naruto.

I don't know why you always have to bash a character constantly, I see it always from you two, no offense mates ~

I would agree with you on that, but what was the alternative? Also i would kind of agree but the power level difference between Hinata and Pain is literally on galactic levels.

Hinata vs Pain - If you say she didn't have courage, then you don't understand the word entirely. She fought pain ready to die, anyone with that resolve has an imeasurable amount of courage.

Naruto vs Pain - Not when he was summoned, when he went to talk to Pain ALONE. He had no idea what was going to happen nor did he have any idea the power scale between Nagato and himself. I mean Naruto was already tired, he could of gotten killed there if things went south.

Sasuke vs the Kages - Not the smartest Sasuke, yet he said ***** the other top ranking shinobi in these villages, I'm coming for Danzo's ass. He was really cocky, but despite that fact he displayed a cool amount of bravery.

Shikamaru vs Hidan - Do I need to explain?

Running away and at least saving her life. It may not be "heroic" but I guess most people would do so in her situation. I sure as hell would. I value my own life more than the one of a crush. (I say crush because they had nothing going at that point)

She was not stupid. Stupidity would have been her charging at Pein thinking she could defeat him. Stupidity would have been if she had encountered Pein in the woods or something and provoked him into fighting her. Pein was attacking, and she could have done something. She knew full and well the danger of what she was about to do, but did it because of throwing caution to the wind like a stupid person, but out of responsibility. That makes her brave.

Sasuke.

-Dude was just out of the academy and was rocking two chunins while Naruto was paralyzed with fear. Went to protect Tazuna and Sakura without hesitation.

-Jumped into what he thought was a death trap to save Naruto vs Haku.

-Fought Orochimaru despite knowing he was no match at the time (chunin arc).

-Displayed no fear whilst fighting Gaara while everyone (Naruto included) shit themselves in his presence. Even when the curse mark took over he still intended on fighting to protect Sakura.

-Was told he had to "die once" to obtain power and did it without hesitation. Took what looked like a bunch of acid tablets and ate them neg-diff with one gulp.

-Went into cursed seal level 2 mode to whoop Naruto's ass once and for all despite knowing that the power carried a huge risk. He didn't even know what would happen to himself after he went into this mode.

-Joined up with an internationally infamous pedo/body snatcher/murderer/baby experimenter with his own free will despite knowing this guy wanted to steal his body. If that doesn't show balls, I don't know what does.

-He then proceeded to cuss this guy out and treat him like trash under his shoe for his entire stay with him, despite knowing of his reputation and even managed to death stare Kabuto.

-Didn't even break a sweat when Sai tried to capture him and then proceeded to solo him, Naruto and Yamato. Handicaps don't matter to Sasuke.

-Danced over landmines without a care in the world.

-Had the ordasity to challenge Itachi despite knowing how much of a solo king he was.

-Busted into the gokage summit and went toe to toe with every single one them. No shits given. Despite being a relative novice user of the MS, despite having not fully recovered from his fight with bee and despite losing a huge part of his power in the Itachi fight (cursed seal, Oro's powers). He still didn't give a shit.

-Tried to blitz Obito when he stood in his way, despite knowing he was the akatsuki leader. Sasuke don't give a damn.

-Was willing to interrupt an entire war to kill Naruto (before the Hashi talk no jutsu) not giving a damn about how many people would be willing to back Naruto up.

-Betrayed the village, killed their leader, attempted to kill his entire team at one point or another and then told everyone he's gonna be hokage. Not only that, he told them he doesn't give a **** what they think. Balls.

-Sliced the juubi tree in half while Naruto was on his knees crying, ready to give into Obito.

-Was willing to take on everyone's hatred for the sake of peace. Flat out told team 7 that he plans on killing the kages and then solo'd the bijuu without breaking a sweat.

-Cussed Sakura out consistently through out the series. Told her she was annoying, that he doesn't like her, that she's a fodder even compared to Naruto, choked her, karate chopped her, threw an apple in her eye and then said sorry, poked her and then married her. Balls of steel.

It's difficult to say who is the bravest character, but I'll list here some moments of bravery that came to my mind right now.

-Hiruzen's death. He sacrificed himself in order to protect Konoha. A very brave act.
