I did. I played the demo for XIII-3 (which is just called Lighting Returns XIII) and have pre-ordered it.

I didn't actually play XIII but XIII-2 was good.
Not the best but it wasn't bad either.

Unfortunately I don't have a 3DS so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

I was a Square-Enix fan but after how they've done recent FF titles I don't know anymore..

Luckily I have a good friend from another forum I use to go on who told me Brave Default is a good game the other day. Supposably the battle system is fun and adds simple fun mechanics that have pushed turn based combat for the better without making it over complicated, it's added freshness to a long running tradition you could say. He has a good tastes in turn bases as well, we've played many of the same games with good battle systems so I trust his judgement.

The downside is he says the story is really boring and generic, and the art style is a rip off of FF4 but not as vibrant.
