[Predictions] Brainstorming: Story of Pain -> Naruto

Hi,

I was ever thinking why Kishi introduced the character of SAI. He has been of no usage for anyone, except showing Narutos ability to change peoples mind.

So as i heard of the fight between Hanzou & Danzou vs. Yahiko, Konan and Nagato, i begin to think over the fact that SAI may have been in that fight and could play a greater role in that manga.

Yahiko was "killed" by Nagato (or himself according to the pictures ) but now there is the question how Nagato got the body of Yahiko & how he got him working under his foes.

I dont think that Nagato come over that theory by using those chakra sticks all by himself, he was to young and to naiv to create a tool of heaven like those 6 Pain bodies. So basicly i think that Danzou realized the power of Nagato and used him, under Madara. Madara is a highskilled ninja and taught Nagato how to use his powers since he is the one who should have the greatest knowledge about kekkai genkai or eye techniques in the ninja world according to his past. Sai could have known these stories according to the fact that he was a black ops member and scouted out for naruto etc.

There might be the possibility that he still is black ops and want to seperate naruto from his friends, that he has no emotional background to be able to endure the pain of his kyuubi. Everything in the manga had the background to create an emotional background for naruto, examples:

- Sasuke (Captured by Orochimaru, former Akatsuki)
- Yahiko (Must have been Captured / killed according to the fact Akatsuki had gotten all Bijuu instead of 8/9 Tailed, FILLER)
- Sora (Kyuubi Leaking Chakra, FILLER)
- Gaara (Killed by Akatsuki once)
- Sakura (Love to Sasuke / Naruto)
- Hinata (Love to Naruto)
- Kakashi (Might be Dead)

They ever go straight on Narutos Friends not on him. Have you ever seen Naruto really beeing injured? Orochimaru and Kabuto have shown nearly 0 strength in the chuunin exams to kill naruto, where they would easily kill him).
They only hurt his friends?, do they want to create a secondary pain?
They could just blow naruto away with kisame / Zetsu / Pain / Madara / Hidan / Kakuzu / Deidara...
This all is somehow really retarded... xD

Uhh, i doubt Sai was there. He's too young. He looks to be about Naruto's age, maybe a little older, but not much. And in the pics Danzo, Nagato, Konan, and Yahiko were considerably younger then they are now, which would make Sai just a little kid at most. So i think Sai would've been to young to be on a mission like that at that point.

ALso, the reason the Akatsuki ddnt send everyone after Naruto is simply this : By the time they caught the rest of the Bijuus, they were all dead except five.

and this event happened when jiraiya was young like 20s

so therefore at this time sai was just a sperm

Hm, that Sai thing was nonsense in my opinion.
However, I agree that Madara could have teached Nagato all the rinnegan great techniques. That would make sense.
I m also interested in how did Nagato fight Hanzou.Did he use just his real body or his rinnegan x 6 of ultimate justess?

I believe that Sai was chosen because he was Naruto's age approximately.

Evrything posted in reply to this theory regarding Sai is true.
Sai is too young to be present at times of yahiko's death.
But I liked your approach. Evrything happen to Naruto is very similar to pain's life. But both pain and naruto have diffrent view point....
Its true what u said, everything happen to naruto could have lead naruto to be someone like Gaara[gaara prior to gaara-naruto fight] or like pain.

Just some notes:
1.) I take it you know fillers don't count when analyzing manga.
2.) We don't know that Madara taught Nagato how to use the Rinnegan, but we do know that Jiraiya at the very least moved him into that direction by training and teaching him about the sage of six paths.
3.) Naruto has almost died plenty of times.

A.) Kabuto shredded his heart pre-time skip after Naruto landed a Rasengan.

B.) Orochimaru tried to kill Naruto around the same time. He most certainly tried to kill Naruto with the sword of Kusanagi while Naruto was in 4-tails form.

C.) Sasuke was going to stab him when they met post-time skip.


4.) Based on conversations I've had with my fellow board members, it looks like Nagato was going to kill himself, but Yahiko grabbed the kunai and stabbed himself instead.

5.) You mention all these Akatuski that could blow away Naruto. First, that would be contrary to their whole mission of collection Bijou, since if the host dies so does the bijou. Second, Naruto is an excellent fighter. I don't think it's a bad thing when you have teamwork. Third, they couldn't care less about secondary pain unless they're interested in seeing kyuubi mode. Fourth, we have no idea about Zetsu's abilities.

I apologize, but I believe there might be some problems in your argument. Maybe I just found it hard to follow because you bring up so many points, I'm perfectly happy to be wrong and corrected.

Yes I agree that the manga has setup a emotionally tragic background and present to teach Naruto the pains of the ninja world. There were plenty of opportunities for people to intervene like the third Hokage and possibly Jiraiya among others. There's another thread about Jiraiya as a godfather, so go there for that argument.

Nonetheless, I appreciate the effort it took to peace together such a theory, and it deserves respect. Nice work
