a forrest could be a downfall to shikamaru too cuz i think it would be harder to track lee if he's using his gates(if he needs too :l) but in the end shikamaru could win this one

i would say lee...he would be too fast for shadowss and nara wouldnt have nuff time to make a plan...plus lee has 5 inner gates unlocked

As much as I'd like Shika to win, in a one on one he probably would lose to Lee. Lee is stupid, but with his 5 gates and his will to go beyond his limits he seriously is dangerous for someone like Shika.

If he can prepare the battleground before, he has a real chance, as seen against Hidan.

Dude, shikamaru is better in using the field for his advantage, but as long as this is a fair battle its all relative to whats happening, Lee could win to, even in a forrest, like the hidden leafs.

Lee, i honestly believe lee is too fast for shikamaru and they are not suited for a matchup as lee is a fighter and shikamaru is a thinker and stays back to think of ways to defeat opponents but he wont have the time to

I hate to say this but if lee can open past 5th gate in this fight shikamaru has no chance of tracking him with his shadow at all

Shikamaru seems more likely to win. He's outsmarted everyone (?) he's fought before, so I'm sure he'd find some way of getting past Lee's gates.
But I really don't know. If Lee does release all five gates... I'm not really sure if even the forest would play an advantage to Shika. Idk. but it'd definitely be a tough match, that's for sure.
