Eh :| it makes sense to me.

It actually does imply that he might know sage mode. Looking at deductive reasoning. Naruto knew summoning for three years and didn't meet the sage toads until he was actually learning sage mode. He had no idea who they were until it was time to learn it.

Fukasaky and Shima ( Pa and Ma) don't fight unless the user is in Sage mode. Hence the only reason we saw them was when Jiraiya was fighting pain, and when Naruto was fighting pain.

I never said the contract had anything to do with sage mode. I said the sage TOADS implied that he must have known sage mode as well since they knew him so well enough to compare SM Naruto to both MINATO and Jiraya. Seeing as the only time they fight is when the summoner is using SM.

Also let me get this straight, the only person with huge chakra reserves like Naruto, is well... Naruto. Kisame got all his chakra from his sword so I don't count him. But Jiraiya and Kabuto don't even come close to Naruto in terms of chakra reserves but they have both learned SM. So what makes you think Minato couldn't? Now I never said SM was definite for Minato, but I said it was possible since he has fought next to the sage toads before. Since they implied it.

Summoning the toads and knowing them still doesn't imply that. What I mean is, there is nothing stopped Fukasaku from Reverse Summoning any of the contract wielders if he wanted to. For example, when the Great Toad Sage saw a prophecy of Jiraiya he was reverse summoned to Mouth Myoboku. Minato may have had other reasons for knowing them. Being acquainted with the toads doesn't have anything to do with SM. Not to mention that Minato has shown nothing to imply he had the chakra supply necessary to counterbalance the influx of natural energy. Fukasaku said this was a requirement

Meh, but anyways, I guess to each his own. I can tell that you're probably not gonna sway from your opinion and neither will I. So I guess we can agree to disagree about this then

Jiraiya did have a chakra reserve comparable to Naruto's. Even outside of SM he was able to perform techniques of massive scale. His Nomi Yuma, for one, which he was able to engulf Manda when he couldn't even use or mold his chakra properly due to Tsunade's poison

As for Kisame, even without Samehada he had large reserves. That would imply that Kisame can't use his large magnitude techniques (like his Great Shark Bullet for example) if he didn't have Samehada. Samehada doesn't act as a chakra pool. There is no large reserve inside Samehada. It only leeches chakra from opponents and gives it to Kisame. Neji wouldn't have said Kisame's chakra was comparable to Naruto's if it weren't true
