Honestly I don't think we will see Sasuke any times soon. We are in the middle of a important battle and switching it over would kill the suspense.

If anything it builds on the suspense. Showing the zoomed out shot on the Juubi, through Naruto's hands, to me implies this is the beginning of the context switch. Knowing Kishi we switch to something lame like wherever Kankuro is or the Kage. Main battle won't end before we get answers on Sasuke, Orochimaru and the MIA Alliance members
