Things changed, the world changed and if it didn't, it would just would have defeated the ideal that Naruto would be the one to do so. I liked the chapter, on a non-bias shipper way because I generally like the fact he grew up and it didn't end up as him being some teen hokage screaming "Dattebayo, never give up!"

The people all pissy and bashing Kishimoto over the ending of his own story... My sig explains it all.

I'm not saying I'm not happy for Naruto. Did I ever say that? If anything that was the only good part but then again I'll miss the young Naruto... and your sig makes no sense.
