I mean, they left their daughter alone with him so obviously trusted him.

He probably hid it from them. It's possible he started by killing animals then final worked up to actually killing someone.

But if that were the case shouldn't the parents have known regardless and therefore not have allowed him to be alone with his sister? I'm just curious, I for one will not try to debate on this matter mainly because its been a while since i took psychology and i have no energy to look things up to back up my claims etc at the moment xD
