Both without sharingan - Sasuke can beat Itachi

Why can't he? Oro trained him alot. Without sharingan Itachi is a failure. But Sasuke have a lot of Sword skills. Whats your opinion?

itachi was in ANBU so he must have some other sword skills plus most of his Katon ( fire style ) jutsus don't require sharingan

I don't see how you can judge this situation without sharingan. They obviously both would have honed their skilled a lot differently if they did not have sharingan. They base all of what they do around the fact that they have these eyes. If itachi was born without them I believe his techniques would be much different. Not so much for sauske since most of his training was to learn other things than abilities with his eyes until after he fought itachi.

Lmfao do you not take notice of what is said and what happens in Naruto? Itachi was renowned at age 11 the genius of his generation yes Sasuke too was exceptional but nothing compared to itachi even without the sharingan itachi is still faster with ninjutsu and has quicker reflexes from what is said throughout the manga. Your thread is an example of somebody who thinks they know Naruto but doesn't comprehend things beyond what they want.

Granted Sasuke does have really good sword skills, Itachi has had a lot more experience, Sharingan or not. There's no reason to discredit his combat skills.

Sasuke is extremely talented and skilled, but due to Itachi being the same way and with added experience in battle, I'd give it to Itachi. We don't truly know his actual power anyways, since he was very ill when he fought Sasuke.
