Preordered this yesterday. Can't wait to get it.
Usually, listening to the voices in english makes my ears bleed. But hearing boruto and sarada talk in this video doesn't get me like that for some reason. Maybe cuz i'm not used to their voices I guess. Still going to have the game set to japanese though.

Boruto looks so fun to play with especially that taijutsu with jyuuken moveset he enhance with wind style technique.

It literally disappeared, repappeared, and then hit the target, and then disappeared again (with Sasuke leaving the ****ing map), AND then it came back again and shredded him.

As cool as it is to see multiple enhanced natures in his moveset, chances are that it's him using the device from the movie. Also a is anyone else disappointed that his awakening isn't him putting on Naruto's jacket? Thought for sure that was a shoo-in.
Other than the awakening though I'm actually very happy with what they did with him and I like that he's using the device because it very much was a part of his character in the movie and he DOES pull off some sweeeeet moves with it!

Is that confirmed anywhere? (I don't mean for this to come off as rude, genuinely curious. We all got hyped that he was a prodigy for using lighting in the movie trailers and then we found differently in the movie.)

It should be pretty obvious. You don't need a confirmation unless you can show me where the KOTE is under his arm, or, where he actually uses it before a combo. When he uses KOTE, you'll notice that he makes a hand sign, or uses a scroll which comes out of the KOTE. It's a fast process.

He used the device instead of his own ability. Doesn't mean that he can't do the elemental nature, just probably not at that level.
Yeah. Both he and Sarada just have a mesh of their parents abilities.

I just chalked the lack of hand signs up to being a limitation of the game and it's fast-pace nature but fair point. I also believe that without exceptions such as having multiple tailed beasts or copy abilities that canonly ninja can only use 2 natures usually reliant on bloodline. And since neither Naruto or Hinata use water it doesn't seem likely that Boruto could either. As far as that gif you shared though I think that was more of a foreshadowing for the device and that he was bragging to impress his father as opposed to actual claims. But hey! No matter what allows him to use those abilities in the game I'm still down for it. Looks cool as hell!
But if his tilt has him throw water on the opponent and then strike from above with an AOE lighting jutsu you know it's the same shit from the movie xD

Yeah they even gave Boruto, Naruto's VA
Despite them changing his VA from the Japanese sub to a new VA entirely. These characters are probably last minute anyway so meh.

I really like both Boruto and Sarada's VA's. They both really fit. Something about their team attack is a bit off. I don't mind that it's underwhelming compared to some others, but all the colors messes with me a little bit. I do like the effect at the end with the final explosion blasting the color, though. And Boruto's ultimate is much better than I expected.
