Boruto's Eye Manifestation

I think we all pretty much figured out that Boruto's eye spawned in contrast to what happened to Denki. The real question, what exactly is it?

To clear things, Boruto does seem to be able to use the Dojutsu

-- But I'm slowly getting the feeling that the only reason why Boruto's Dojutsu is activated, is because of the 'seal' itself. Don't get me wrong, Boruto has the Dojutsu, but it is probably something that manifests only in a certain condition. Think of the dojutsu like person (Sasuke). He's only there when you need it, but never there when you want it. ~roll credits

Let's go to 'Denki'

That snake-like chakra thing attacked him, and a second later, it pans out to a random image. I'm not really sure what that is, but the color pattern is reminiscent of Kawaki's curse seal, no?

Regardless, let's go to the Dojutsu.

This is what Boruto 'see's, but the manifestation of the Dojutu seems to be a direct reaction to Denki's warped chakra.

I can't confirm or deny it, but based on perspective, the Dojutsu does seem to manifest only when Boruto is around that 'warped chakra' which came from that snake-like object. Whether this has any connection to the seals is unclear to be totally honest, it might though.

But what I can say is that Boruto may only be able to access this 'power' in conjunction to the seal, or whenever he is around that 'chakra'. I may be wrong later down the line of course, but just stating this on Episode 1's portrayal.

That's a good point it looks like that Chakra denki was emitting activated and unlike Himiwari he doesn't realize he has it will be interesting how this eye will play in the academy arc and if he will figure out he has the Byakugan

What about the diamond seal(Otsutsuki power) if it exsit in Anime? I can relate it to the diamond seal effect but its not a mutation but hidden power of true Byakugan. I think not much we know about Bykugan out of enhanced vision. Tenseigan I think is not Byakugan's real power but something that being influenced by Six Path power/chakra. True power Byakugan not being influence by all that. It Otsutsuki power at it purest. Like Sharingan to MS.

Ofc it is a mutation. Writers lost control over power-ups and now they mutate. Who knows what's next.

Depends if Denki is Kawaki or not. Or, he might turn out to be like Inari. Random filler character who is only important for a future chapter to say 'hi' again

Boruto get's the seal during his Genin year. So we probably won't see it for a while... It could be the case. Good theory.

Probably not until later. Genin Boruto doesn't seem to know he has it.

OT- Boruto can use his byakugan? I made a theory about this but i deleted the thread. The seals helps him to awaken the eye.

I think you're on to something,when he awakened it, he didn't see any chakra points like the byakugan does
he just saw that weird chakra
