Borutos element?

Anybody have any idea if the elements are genetically passed down? For example will Boruto be wind the same as his dad? If not what you guys think it will be, and would like to hear predictions on other characters element?

Boruto actually inherited lightning from his mother and ofc the wind from his father but I dunno how Bolt attain water?

He has Lightning from Hinata and Wind from Naruto.. Water, well he could have been taught that by Konohamaru?
