I agree with Mikey doe. Sasuke is either A) incapacitated or away from the battlefield like Naruto or B) ran away from a fight like a coward and gave Boruto his sword so he can take care of the dirty work while he slinks in the forest. Either way, not a great look for old Sauce man.

He's like a mix of Naruto with Sasuke and Kakashi who's trying too hard to act badass in front of the cameras

How does one try too hard to act bad-ass when he only said like three lines? Plus Kishimoto said in the Movie that Boruto was similar to both Naruto and Sasuke, but was different to them at the same. That was the basis of his character from day 1.

Although he leans towards Sasuke a bit more because he wants to follow in the shadows. The thing that makes me cringe is the scar, but, it has to be based on what happened. If it's lame, cringe, if not, I'll go with it for now.

Plus you would definitely be cringing more if Boruto was covered in orange and saying 'Believe it'. But I suspect some people just didn't want him to grow up into a bad-ass regardless. Probably wanted him to be a Naruto 2.0 or something.

Like some Sarada fan's over at NF were going to make an Anti-Boruto Fan Club because he had a sword. Like, I just don't get it.

Some people complain about wanting a different MC, something new, and when they get an MC who supposedly isn't about saving everyone, and rainbows, they still complain.
