Boruto won't become very strong

What led you to believe he wouldn't have learned the Rasengan? Naruto has immense chakra reserves. Even if you subtract Kurama. Naruto learned Rasengan without his help. During Rasen-shuriken training, Kurama was more of a setback than help.
Naruto learned to throw RS With SM too. So not even that was with his help...
