the curse mark? since you know Sasuke....


and don't say that evil chakra thing since it is clearly not connected to Boruto himself or is his power but rather a third party that is manipulating people and causing havok to either harm Boruto or to test him and mature his power.

It isn't his and he doesn't have it. The summoning that he did was a set up by the perp that is attacking people's chakra in order to cause a situation for Boruto, either for a good or bad purpose.

That's why I'm a little disappointed tbh. I wanted to see Boruto grow stronger on his own without power ups like the last. I want Boruto to at least achieve power through hard work and ambition, but we'll never get to see that.

That's why I lost a little faith in this series. In Naruto Part 1, at the very beginning, it was all about technique, battle tactics, and skill. But now, it's all about who has the largest attacks, who has the flashiest attacks or most badass. Naruto is trying to become the new Dragon Ball series.

Before DBZ, everything was based off this (Skill, hard work, battle tactics). Then once SSJ came into the picture, it's all about the fact that you need to be a god to compete (Saiyans and Gods). Disappointing and cancerous as a Shounen concept.

Now, it's the same thing for Naruto.

I feel like it's hard to say. Everyone is super talented and strong without a real reason for them to be -- yet.

Boruto already unlocked his own unique KKG, and later down the story he gets his own version of the Curse Seal.
Mitsuki was created to have Sage Mode
Metal Lee can already access some form of the Gates in the Academy
Even filler-made characters like Iwabe can use B-Rank ninjutsu in the Academy

But I also think that's a misdirection. For instance, just because they have these 'tools' now, doesn't make them efficient. For instance:

> Boruto doesn't know he has a KKG, nor can he use his seal. If he has these now (as in Chapter 11), that means Boruto is going to master them over time.
> Mitsuki for now doesn't have complete mastery of his Sage Mode since he just unlocked in the Gaiden, meaning he's going to master over time
> etc

Though I think the major differences here is that more and more characters are shown to have amazing super powers through hack or whatnot, but in Part 1, it was only Naruto and Sasuke who kept getting stronger and stronger through outside help (Naruto being Kurama, Sasuke being Orochimaru).

I feel like when Kawaki gets introduced, it'll probably get worse.

The dude was born this way. His ability to master rasengan and even change it is due to his Uzumaki and Hyuga DNA which are both heavy on chakra manipulation and health.

His eye is also due to his genes.

I mean if you are going to hate on something just hate on the fact that his Mom and Dad have superior genes :yayy:

It could of been worse TBH. Boruto could of been given rikudou chakra which helped him unlock the Rinne-byakugan-tsenigan eye so that he could summon forth TSB balls and form the CT on his father's village.

I guess the only reason why they needed to retcon the Movie's ending is because Boruto isn't fighting another Otsutsuki in his younger years. This could be a good and a bad thing:

The bad side could probably be the power inflation. For instance, imagine if these seals are strong enough to surpass Naruto or Sasuke. That would be ... retarded.

My only problem with the seal would be if:

> Boruto doesn't have to train for it. That would like Naruto getting RSM and Sasuke getting the Rinnegan. It needs to be more like Naruto's Kyuubi's chakra and Sasuke's Curse Seal. It might not be your original power, but if you train with it over time and learn how to master it, you get respect.

The weird thing is though, Hagoromo went after Naruto/Sasuke because they needed his power to take down Madara (and Kaguya). Momoshiki was never interested in Boruto until he saw him in the afterlife. B/c Boruto was able to see him, Momoshiki said what he said (fate blah blah). Yada yada take this seal.

The knockoff of this happening (for future purposes) in the story, is that this seal could help Boruto feel alienated from the rest of his comrades since he'll be dealing with the alien plot now. At the end of the day I think Bolt needs to be able to fight Otsutsuki like Naruto/Sasuke in order to takeover when Sasuke gets old, kind of like his successor.

That's what I think IMO.

Regardless of genetics, at least have him have some major fights without the Dojutsu like Sasuke did. But no, he has to have it. On top of that, he's a prodigy which is a bad sign when it comes to character development. I'm telling you, you're going to be disappointed soon.

he hasn't even used his dojutsu in any fights

it just showed him that those people were possessed

knocking them out pushes the evil chakra away and not Boruto's eye dojutsu

but even if his dojutsu had any abilities it is no different as a Hyuga using their eye or an Uchiha using the sharingan or EMS or a ninja clan using a KKG

it is like saying it isn't fair that Haku uses ice
