I've seen too many characters in the story get called a prodigy/genius but their ceiling wasn't very high or the lvl of their supposed genius turned out to be overrated. The Gaiden has taught me to be wary of ppl getting called a genius before said genius was ever seriously tested.

Agreed. Kishimoto has failed on such Prodigies like Haku in example. Hopefully this child will be an exert for Kishimoto's failures. I would assume he would of learned from his mistakes though.

ever since the Revolution chapter, a number of them can't seem to make up their minds when it comes to what party line they're going carry. The party line went from "Sasuke will train Salad instead of Bolt because he's going to be a Naruto clone and Salad will have ___" to "Sasuke is teaching Bolt because he knows talent and Salad is fodder"

The latter line is a bit hilarious, considering Sasuke never liked acknowledging anybody's talent if their name wasn't Itachi and all it took for them to change their tune was Bolt being called a prodigy

Yep I never changed my opinion about her at all.

They ALL literally went from "Sasuke would never love that useless fodder" or "Sakura would just make his children fodder" or "He has never shown any romantic interest" to

"She's not that bad" - "She's pretty useful if you think about it" - "She's not a bad character" :|
