Yes and no. With Sasuke he had V2 but it wasn't full power due to curse sealing Kakashi put on him. And he couldn't control it.

I know he couldn't control nor manupilate the Curse Seal like he could in the future, but he could bring out the full transformation of the Curse Seal already.

Then the plot seal or plot help comes to save one of them from a ass-beating. 2 chapters max.

In Part 1? I think he didn't trust Orochimaru yet, in Part 2 he coult probably use the full power by himself.

In both. That seal kept it's full power in check and Sasuke wanted it off so he can use it's full power. Tho i guess the seal helped his body not die out from overuse.

If you want my opinion on this i'd say shojoji will get a beatdown from Boruto, then like any boss fights *cough cough* dark souls *cough cough* you know how you defeat a boss and when you reach a certain health bar the boss gets like a major buff?

Yeah... after Boruto beat him down i have this feeling that shojoji was holding back the whole time and will use some new powers against Boruto and will overpower him? Buy hey this is my personal thought. I also think Sarada will think about Boruto and will probably or might go save him due to concerns.

This concludes my thoughts on the situation.

Boruto and Shojoji start going at it. Boruto does alright at first with clever usage of shadow clones, and he might even get a good hit in with rasengan. Then Shojoji starts to turn the tables and things are looking bad until Boruto's seal on his hand starts to partially activate (similarly to how Sasuke inadvertently partially activated his curse mark during his chunin exams in the forest of death when fighting those sound ninja). This is enough to wreck Shojoji, but Boruto seems to start losing control. That's where Tentou comes in and calms Boruto down like how Sakura did to Sasuke

What I said was just for the lolz but lots possible since he(Boruto) was teaching him how to be a ninja. If Boruto beat up mighty mouth by himself it would be dumb af imo beating someone in the bingo book solo.

Burt is going to start winning first part of the fight, then Shojoji is going to use someone's powers, Burt gets his ass solo'd then someone comes to rescue Burt, Burt gets another handout out of nowhere and 'beats' someone who is on Orochimaru's level.

I expect alot of shadow clone feints, slight praise from Shojoji about Boruto's skill then as the fight goes on Boruto will use a rasengan for the finishing blow/or desperation and then the fight gets interrupted by a mysterious third party

Taijutsu, with some shadow clone strategy, hopefully boruto shows an elemental jutsu or two, and probably use the vanishing rasengan as the final or a surprise attack.

Shojoji uses a forbidden jutsu that gives him abilities and form of his host...right?
Who knows how many brains (lol) Shojoji ate....probably countless....Boruto may keep up with him till Shojoji uses the techniques he got by using his forbidden jutsu...just like Sagebee said...mitsuki and Sarada may come and help boruto to beat him...well, we will see Shojoji's power next chapter FOR SURE...( according to the next chapter's preview on the last page )....
