Sakura's CES wasn't nerfed, it just shows she can't even kill a fodder like Shin with full power punch.

it is a problem for CES since that means like Shin did you can counter in CQC by just blocking via arms and wrists.

On the point of her knowing Shin's ability she at least knew he can move metal pieces around (not sure if she knew it can numb though) since she saw him operate on his kids.

On the basis of her against Shin though, Shin bested her in CQC and avoided any CES punches.

Nerfed by the writer, if a full power Sakura came at Shin in a no-restriction VS battle she would demolish him. This is is gaiden if Sakura destroyed Shin the moment she entered how would the plot continue, think.

I think that Sakura's ambition, despite being completely retarded for a ninja, didn't correlate with the fact that she isn't as "carefree" and lazy as Boruto is.

That might be it.... Although I can't argue for her terrible performance as a ninja in the bell test, and the Mist Arc.

In terms of ninja, I would rather have Boruto on my team any-day than Sakura. If she was much stronger than I could make a better argument for her.

Are we comparing current Sakura or part 1? Because current Sakura or even part 2 sakura would obliterate Boruto.

Boruto can't really be blamed for having no ambition or dream, considering the circumstances he was born in. He was born in a time of peace, stability, and societal advancement. Naruto was alone and surrounded by the darkness of the shinobi world, Sasuke was a victim and lone survivor of a genocide, and Sakura...well her situations come much later but she's still in a much darker world than Boruto.

The shinobi system should have been destroyed. With the erasing of conflicts and lack of bad circumstances, there's no surprise that the new generation has absolutely no interesting goals and their only way of giving the viewers entertainment is through all of them being prodigious and having a bunch of elemental affinities just because their parents were strong.

You misunderstand I do think Sakura is stronger. If Boruto were to fight her it be like the Part I Naruto VS drunk Tsunade all over again only more flashy.

And yes Hyuga fans I would suspect Hinata would fare the same if she were in Sakura’s place. I’m sure she can fight by now( im hoping they actually animated it for us. She needs more fights under her belt for new feats anyways)

Sakura’s own words were kind of contradictory though. For one to go all out one would have to use everything in their arsenal. Sakura never used Byakugou against Shin which would have increased her output in cqc and kept her healed while taking damage.

Just like Naruto and Sasuke took hits from Shin they could have easily avoided normally. All 3 were Nerfed for story purposes regardless of what Sakura stated. But I know giving Sakura any kind of recognition isn’t going to sit well with you or your little group so I will stop right here.
