Why didn’t Kakashi scold Sakura for having no real ambition like Boruto?

Naruto was to be Hokage, Sasuke was to kill Itachi and revive clan, hers was to be with Sasuke

Yet he didn’t mind at all

She didn’t pick up any real ambition until the end of part 1 where she doesn’t want to be a burden anymore and wants to help rescue Sasuke

Yeah I think it’s because he’s a prodigy having no ambition or resolve could easily lead to him getting manipulated or swayed. Like with Katasuke and the kote device cheating.

Boruto is a genius but he lacks something that other ninjas do... he thinks he doest have to train at all or do anything because he thinks he is better then others and have 3 elements as a genin.

Well yea but i meant as a main thing. That was basically just so they could learn more about each other. For him teamwork was the A1 thing for him. More than goals and ambitions.

Sakura's dream being sasuke might have not seemed like an issue to kakashi.
Knowing what sasuke's plan for the future might be. Someone trying to get close to him is actually a decent deterrent to push him off that plan( which Sakura tried to do)

Boruto on the other hand has no actual ambition or dream. Just wants to have fun and drift through on his talent.

That might be it.... Although I can't argue for her terrible performance as a ninja in the bell test, and the Mist Arc.

In terms of ninja, I would rather have Boruto on my team any-day than Sakura. If she was much stronger than I could make a better argument for her.
