Okay read it at last, phew.

Well let's do some quick maths... Hiruzen was 72 at the start of the series, I think Koharu and Homura were same age as him.
3 year skip to Shippuden, 75 years. Then arguably and presumably there's about 16 years from Shippuden to start of Boruto, then they should be 91. And Two Blue Vortex 3 years skip... So 94? Oonoki passed a 100 so technically I suppose it's possible lmao.

Gave it a 3. Boruto story isn't seem interesting anymore.

We've had 2 years of constant fighting since this sequel manga launched. I think we desperately need some in between breather to build things up. The Eida love thing-a-ma-dingy is boring though I agree, but the otherwise intrigue on display is interesting Imo. I gave it a 4. Maybe first chapter of Two Blue Vortex that has not been a 5 so far and that says a lot, lol

I kept thinking about the huge city in the back atop the Hokage mountain, wondering if they were hinting at it when he mentioned the necessity to still keep a Hokage/village position on the payroll or whatnot in this new era

Appreciate them trying to focus on the political aspect of the situation, that's something the original series could have focused on more, especially during Danzo's short reign after the Pain arc. However, the way it's being written feels evident that it's lacking research and depth to portray this as accurate as possible.

As for Daemon, he's an interesting character, so let's see how this confrontation goes down. Overall I rate this chapter a 4/10 lol

Don't think this manga deserves any stars, I'm just keeping up cause of nostalgia . I would change practically everything about this story lol

I feel like Daemon will get beat up. Idk why.
This entire show hypes up their characters to weird levels and then they get beat up easily.
Like I remember when Boruto debuted his new Jutsu, forgot the name but the spinny Jutsu he used on Code. Everyone was like "oh its gonna be a game changer if anyone gets hit with that". Then it was tossed aside a few chapters ago lol

Yeah because everyone has to aura farm and be badass lol how are you guys liking the story or we just here for the cool shounen fights

For me personally I like the evolution from OG Boruto which was kids' friendly and overly saturated. Two Blue Vortex feels more on par with Shippuden. Obviously it's not Kishi doing the story himself anymore but even his writing was questionable at times. I think one thing Two Blue Vortex does better is perhaps fleshing out the story more (granted it's monthly so maybe it just feels that way because of it) and the female characters (except for the overly focus on romance) are better written, or should I say, gets more spotlight. But yeah I think the action so far has been superb, but not on level with Shippuden no. I enjoy it for what it is and the potential I feel it has. In general it's one of the most popular mangas these days on Shueisa, been so since the Two Blue Vortex debut

I just feel like the spotlight has been focused too much on the romantic aspect or overall their obsession with the guys is kinda forefront if that makes sense. Like I'm just hoping they put that in the back burner for a bit, it kinda makes me appreciate Shippuden in how the romance was minimum even though I do wish it was slightly a bit more

The action on the other hand feels very modern shounen. We are missing the unique, creative and quirky fights that made Naruto so fun and different from other mangas at the time. It is nice to see it's popularity though, my nostalgia towards Naruto doesn't want me to let go lol

Yeah.. I also think the reason it feels like this is because it is monthly. Whatever theme the chapter has it runs for its entirety, for what would/could have been 4 separate chapters containing 4 different themes in the past. It feels bloated compared to what we were used to.

Yeah I know what you mean. It feels almost too fast paced, too Super Sayian lol. But we see this in other genres as well. Take the MCU for example. Trying to go street level after Infinity War and Endgame did not go too well and it's easier to fall back to the big cinematic experience we've become accustomed to. I feel for instance the Deepa filler arc in the OG Boruto did something akin to what we've been missing but obviously it's a take it or leave it at this point. Hard to "dumb it down" fighting wise when everyone is God level lol. And yeah same, I miss my boy though but I like the evolution of Boruto for sure compared to the OG show.
