Here's my review;

~ After several battle chapters in a row, it's definitely a breath of fresh air to have some character building setup again. Seeing the Himawari and Kurama interaction was great, I'm loving the dynamic already and interested to see where they go with it. They seem to imply it has a similar effect/status to Boruto's connection with Momoshiki (without being a host) which will be cool to see where they go with it power-wise. She definitely seem to maybe have a bigger potential than even Naruto's bond with Kurama that way, and therefore she might even outclass Boruto in raw strength in the future. Wouldn't really surprise me if they made the strongest shinobi of the next gen power-wise a female character for once, and then balance it out by having the others be more skilled/wise.

Speaking of, Boruto's interaction with Momoshiki was hilarious. I really like Momoshiki's newfound attitude lmao. Final line there is curious for sure, wonder what Boruto is planing and if Momo will take the bait

Also with the future changing last time with Kawaki and Boruto teaming up, and, with Konohamaru now alive, something tells me that they'll be able to accomplish something with Konohamaru further down the line that they would not have been if he died, and hopefully he'll have something useful to do eventually outside being a rag-doll *laughs* ~

Yeah, I actually went as far as buying the manga volumes in Japan, partly to brush up on my Japanese, partly because there’s just something special about having them lined up on the shelf. Been to Japan 9 times already, and next year my goal is finally climbing Mount Fuji. Guess you could say it’s my own little S-rank mission.

Holy Jesus, and here I thought I had a collection with just 5 Naruto shippuden era volumes translated in English on my shelf, lmao, but now we're talking!
Always wanted to go to Japan, my friends and I have been talking about it for years. That sounds like a S-Class Mission for sure and one hell of a one at that!

When it comes to the manga, it's definitely going to be hard to top the hype of 2010-2014, but I do believe with the Two Blue Vortex timeskip in Boruto, we've started getting some real quality work again, just missing Kishi's double-spreads and we would get there. I'm also curious if this latest boom in popularity will eventually smitten over here as nothing speaks Animebase/Narutobase like good old Manga engagement. I miss the weekly releases tho, disturbs the flow a bit, If we could have had bi-weekly that would be fine. One thing that could perhaps spark a bit more engagement in the manga discussion is a spin of what you did back in the old days, but instead of hosting which got us blacklisted, lol, maybe something akin to this. Whenever you post something, people are drawn to it. Nobody cares if I do it

Hima will get the upgrade when we do another timeskip until Boruto Vs Kawaki on the Monuments.
