Boruto whose eyes are beginning to take everything away from him will eventually have to leave the dimension with Sasuke so he can't hurt anyone with his curse while he trains to tame its power(also his otsusuki seal)

this parallels Narutos journey away from home to tame his kyuubi power

So the part 1 will end with Boruto in a battle where he gets his doujutsu eye slashed by the enemy or maybe even himself or Sasuke to stop it from going out of control or something like that

That would be lame as hell. The whole training jounrey shtick was pointless in Naruto anyways. lmao what did he even get? A giant rasengan and barely-better taijutsu? It's not needed nor wanted if it's handeled in the same way as Naruto's time skip.
