The good thing about this movie is that I can now tolerate these spoilers/teasers.

When spoilers of "The Last" came out, it ruined the suspense of the manga's ending. For example, Naruto and Sasuke were alive in the movie, which implied neither of them died in their 'final' fight, and thus made the battle more predictable and less exciting to read.

Agreed here. Kishimoto did state that Team Taka would make their reappearance in the movie, so there is one down XD.


Naruto has more fans worldwide though. It is just the fact that Sasuke is the second most popular in the Naruto series. The problem is that SP/and who-ever misuse Sasuke as a character to drawn in his fans especially. Much like how if they made a Sasuke oriented movie and they included Naruto in a few promos, it would attract his fan's too.

Even in the Last Sasuke was shown with characters like Sakura, Sai, Shikamaru, and Hinata. So in terms of expanding his character for promotional value is pretty hilarious when Naruto himself had a skyscraper with his full body and scarf on it, not to mention the Last buses that viewed him and the rest of the team. The only problem with Sasuke being advertised is he is only advertised for a few seconds. Mind you, the Last is the only one that has done this though. Seeing how it was the "Last" movie about Naruto and the K11.

The other Naruto movies were about Naruto aside from Bonds.

Those are the official polls, the other ones don't really matter. There's a pattern with these polls that show that the more screentime Sasuke gets, the more likely he is to best Naruto in the polls. Which is part of the reason why Sasuke's screentime is limited in the movies. It's not ideal for the main character to be overshadowed. Poll 5 onwards is VOTE 1 Sasuke right up to MS Sasuke. Poll 5 was around the time Sasuke's character really started to be fleshed out and it's no surprise that once it was, he started to run Naruto very close (or beat him) in popularity polls. The first four were conducted when Naruto had way more focus than Sasuke. It was only really from Part 2 onwards that Kishi started giving them a roughly equal amount of screentime or rather, joint main characters.

That just tells you that Sasuke>Bo[Na]ruto in terms of popularity. Sasuke's face is required or else nobody would buy tickets for the movie because let's face it: Naruto anime/manga/movies without Sasuke=ZZZZ. The Last is a very good example of this. And much like in the last, Sasuke gets the job done far too efficiently for him to feature heavily in a 90 minute movie. We don't want Sasuke solo'ing the main villain in the 30 seconds now, do we? No, Naruto and his spam until I win tactics allow the movies to last longer. Sure, Naruto might get fodderized 6 or 7 times throughout the movie but he'll win in the end...Barely.

Can you one day wake up and being possitive about Naruto ?

In Sasuke's absence (up until he fought Gaara in the exam), Naruto was definitely the focus. He had several chapters dedicated to his training, his fight with Kiba was way longer, he was involved in most of the k11's fights without actually fighting.

When the Last teaser came out in theatres in japan, it took about 1 1/2-2 wks for someone to upload them on YouTube or other video websites
