Boruto surpassing Naruto

Alright u guys we have had our fun, even Boruto fanboys have to acknowledge that they may have gone a bit overboard with the hype so I ask u all to be honest.

How many of u here still believe that Boruto will ever surpass Naruto from a power standpoint?

I myself was skeptical, but was open minded to the idea. The recent spoilers confirm it won't happen.

We all knew that Naruto can't be surpassed by anyone but Bolt's story interests me the most.

Well I actually thought that Boruto might somehow surpass Naruto's legacy by doing more to attain peace than Naruto did, but Boruto doesn't even want to be hokage. He instead wants to be like Sasuke

With fanfic, he could possibly surpass War SM naruto [ Boruto having SM (ma and pa fused) and FTG).

Even though I don't believe its possible, an argument could be made that since Boruto could have secondary chakra from Hagoromo(Naruto) and Hamura (Hinata) that he could maybe obtain some combined power similar to Kaguya level. It's a definite stretch but not impossible in the NV.

Previously, I thought he surpassed Naruto excluding the transmigration stuff. But now, I'm not resolute about surpassing stuff. Yet, he's pretty much on equal level I guess.
