Boruto superiority over his teammates confirmed

Really nice episode . Celestial Prince showing his greatness again.

First we saw Boruto beating Kagura . We know from episode 28 that Kagura > 6 swordsman . We know that Sarada barely defeated Buntan and collapsed 5 second after. So it goes this way :

Boruto > Kagura > 6 Swordsman >>>> Sarada > Buntan.

Second this episode confirmed that Boruto > Mitsuki

We saw great performance by Boruto against Shizuma. Mitsuki on the other side was defeated pretty easily by Shizuma unlike Boruto .

Uzumaki - Hyuga genes too strong .Also confirmed Boruto will be great swordsman and will use Hyuga style Gentle Fist in future.

But Kagura clearly did not go all out. Also, however strong any of them are, they failed to 1 v 1 defeat whats his face Hoshigaki, so the idea that Kagura is "stronger than the current swordsman" did not refer to them as a whole, but one on one each. which may have also been an overhype, because he needed Boruto to take just one down.

If Kagura was that strong, he would have easily defeated Boruto who needed Mitsukis help to keep up with Samehada guy. (is it shizuma?)


Kagura (according to hype) > Any of the swordsman one on one
Boruto + Mitsuki > Samehada user > Buntan

Which leaves Sarada as at least equal to Buntan (technically a step ahead), and means team konohamaru is all about the same level.

I am sure any combination of 2 from the team would have the same results. Mitsuki + sarada would have fared just as well against them, or Sarada + Boruto.

Mitsuki got wrecked this episode by Shizuma while Boruto one shot him with Hyuga style. And later beat his fused version together with Kagura .

Today made me wonder if Boruto applies chakra to his gentle fist style fighting. I was hoping to see if Shizuma could perform jutsu after but he got swallowed up.

I wouldn't say hes leaps above his teammates, he's just goo at faking out a stronger opponent like Naruto was. Overall I have to give him his win. He put in work, the whole team did this arc

Sarada just won a solo battle without using her best abilities in CES and shuriken jutsu and you are praising Boruto for barely holding off Kagura who was weak and barely trying. He needed Mitsuki's help against Shizuma and even then could not finish him off and the needed Kagura's help. Also Mitsuki was nerfed just for the sake of letting Boruto get a chance to shine since Mitsuki should have simply soloed himself. Come back to me when Bort of them have or can defend against genjutsu.

She beat Buntan who was significantly weaker in portrayal and statement compared to both Shizuma and Kagura.

Boruto for barely holding off Kagura who was weak and barely trying. He needed Mitsuki's help against Shizuma and even then could not finish him off and the needed Kagura's help. Also Mitsuki was nerfed just for the sake of letting Boruto get a chance to shine since Mitsuki should have simply soloed himself. Come back to me when Bort of them have or can defend against genjutsu.

The reason why Boruto is shown stronger is because he actually stood his ground alongside Mitsuki with Shizuma, he looked neither weaker nor stronger in that correspondence. Which means that he's right up there now.

It doesn't help the case that Boruto actually knocked Shizuma to a freaking boulder with his Ninjutsu and shadow clone combination. Plus, after Shizuma was absorbed by Samehada, it took the combination attack from them both to end his career.

That's why he's #2 ATM.
