it's cool and all that but I think it's about time we admit the byakugan is a fodder jutsu if war arc power scaling is used in the boruto manga as well

In so many dojutsu activations in the manga, the panel zooms into the eye(s) that is/are being activated. Do you think the illustrator zoomed in on his eye because a blind eye looks cool? Check page 6, because I don't think you saw all of it.

Look at chapter 681, page 15. You will see what a blind eye looks like after Madara uses Izanagi. Then look at any activated Byakugan and you will see that the pupil in Boruto's right eye is the exact same as the pupil of a Byakugan.

I can actually the ruined inner circle of the iris. Byakugan never has one. For now, it doesn't even remotely look like a Byakugan.

If you go to Narutopedia, and if you recognize it as a reliable source, you will see under Boruto that he wields the Byakugan.

Wikipedia isn't a reliable source, as it's updated by people. But yes, he has Byakugan. I just looked at Himawari's eyes to confirm it, and she has a faint iris as well. So, it most likely is an implant.
