Boruto is a like a mixture of Konohamaru, Sasuke, and Naruto. Personality wise he's spoiled like Konohamaru, arrogant like Sasuke, and rebellious like Naruto.

Sarada on the other hand is very calm, level headed, polite and caring. I wouldn't put it past her to have a lot more of Sakura's personality due to her mild anger when enraged, she also seems to get depressed at times and she frowns while looking down, but she is also a kid and these traits are understandable and enjoyable to watch.

Bolto inherited all the bad aspects, and Sarada seems to posses all the good aspects from her parents. I believe it is intentional to show a reversed (Naruto - Sasuke) scenario in a sense. Now that Sarada's story is coming into a halt, it seems to have shown her in nothing but a bright light throughout her "Gaiden". She may have came across as bratty as every other kid in her generation, she at least is not wild.

Boruto on the other hand, despite his lack of screen time, has been shown to be nothing but the opposite of Sarada. People just can't seem to like him outside of his prodigal talent. He's always shown in a bad light, and is never given a chance to break it so far.

I'm interested in their parallels. It's funny, Sarada's growth in Gaiden didn't really change her character, but expressed more ideals which she learned to accept through Naruto's words. I think personally, she learned to appreciate what she already had despite what Suigetsu told her about Karin being her biological mother. True love exists outside of DNA bonds and connections.

While in Boruto's future growth, his character is going to change overall, much like how Neji changed through his battle with Naruto (albeit on a way lesser scale compared to Neji). Because his bratty, spoiled, and rebellious attitude are going to suffer when he begins to accept his dad for who he is, and what he is.

I just wanted to share because I was noticing a few things when I compared their characters.

You are thinking a lot about a character so empty like Boruto.

They are both pretty empty when it comes to depth. Their backgrounds suck as shinobi in comparison to the old generation.

What they have/possibly can get are traits and personalities that differ from their parents. It's just points to be made when looking at what Kishimoto is doing when you compare them.

Sarada is more of a Sun, and Boruto is more a Moon. One casts a bright light on those around her, and the other always casts a shadow on everyone else's "Sun". Basically he ruins everything.

I swear you will love Boruto very much by the time the movie is released and you've watched it. He is stupid and arrogant now, all that will change once Boruto understands his dad.

Thanks man.

I just hope they pull it right, you know how every little thing can be criticized.

She is, but that doesn't make her character totally negative.

I can already foresee it just by watching Boruto's tears with the words (translated) "Stupid dad", in the trailer . I have a feeling it's gonna be great.

STFU dude! The things that happened to her makes her reaction completely justified.

I didn't say she was totally negative, just not as cool as you think she is. She still has the mindset of a kid and overreacts to things.

Can you point out some examples in the Gaiden?

Dude, weren't you bashing her,Mcallister her a bad character when her fighting style was revealed? (Just because it's similar to Sakura whom you hate so much.)

Salada is showing aspects that Naruto has such as caring about friends and family, she even wants to be Hokage just like him. Its clear that she favors Naruto above Sasuke.
As for Boruto, he clearly favors Sasuke above Naruto considering he has little respect for him. Boruto seems to care only about power and beating up his father than understanding his family and Naruto's duties as the Hokage which is like being a father to everyone of the village. Like you said, Kishi reversed their characters which does make it interesting so to say.

I didn't really call her a fodder or anything, I just dissed her fighting style. There's nothing cool about it, ya know?

Exactly.

It would be really cool if Boruto leaves the village at the end of the movie, and he decides to go on a leave. Mainly because he acted like a brat to his father, and the village, and he wants to repay them by going to fix himself.

That would be sick.

Does Kishi hire you to damage control Suckura?

No, I just hate people that bash her when she actually does something good, or nothing bad at all. Bunch of bandwagoners that think it's cool or funny, lol smh.
