Really bored of Chidori and Rasengan, especially Rasengan, that jutsu was overused in this series. Really hope for a breathe of fresh air with new jutsus. This new generation is already just straight up clones of their parents, make them atleast a little bit different in combat.

Kakashi created the Chidori because he couldn't combine his nature element into the Rasengan,and he didn't have the wind element to be able to learn the RasenShuriken,like Minato tried to do,but died before completing it.

I think Sasuke will teach Boruto the Rasengan which incoporates Lightning into it,it would be a good way to compare him to Naruto,and show the new generation surpassing the old (Boruto surpassing Kakashi),like his Farther did when he learned the RasenShuriken.

Boruto's name itself could also be a reference to Lighting - Bolt - Lightning Bolt.Since Sasuke is going to be his master he probably has a lightning chakra nature.

sasuke has done it so many times. I mean look at the kage summit arc. He even used it while he was blind for gods sake

i hope boruto gets confirmation on lightning affinity. his name is bolt too so that would be super cool

Kakashi lacked sharingan for chidori.
Sasuke did it while half blind but kakashi was never able to do it without sharingan.
Bolt with chidori would be weird to me honestly lol.

sasuke has peformed without it though, i can go find the scans but he has done it quite a lot in part 2. i'm not surprised since kishimoto basically allowed naruto to peform frs in base mode haha

yeah ikr? but that's why i want to see it. bolt using chidori would be so weird, but so awesome to look at. I mean he already made the kid a prodigy, I would rather him follow Sasuke's technique than spam rasengans. chidori is always cool

Can you post the scans of when Naruto used FRS in base? Or tell me when it happened? I don't remember him ever doing it in base.

Yea Sasuke did it half blind I think chidori complement his normal eyes because they can track even just a little(Haku fight) while Kakashi need sharingan because of tunnel vision. I wish bolt had Byakugan he would be a real Hyuga prodigy.
