We see momoshiki defeat killer bjuu mode by covering his tailsvin chakra rods and absorbing the bjuu dama that was fired then proceding to shoot it back at 3x the strength which bee avoided by clone duping
Later on, that same momoshiki was struggling badly with darui
And later omoi struggled with the character deepa
So it just reads like none of the boruto writers watched shippuden or just didt care about the power scaling
Like why would momoshiki beat killer bee in his bjuu state if he cant even beat raikage darui
The omoi thing just makes no sense aswell, I mean he shouldt be much stronger then darui logically yet he loses to deepa who was very casual
That's just the issues with the cloud village
You have loads of issues with boruto and the other genin too
Like you have him beat up momoshiki in hand to hand who before that was struggling with gaara
Same boruto not an hour earlier was in the chunnin exams struggling with gaara's adopted son shinki
So is boruto stronger then a kazekage on the level of his weaker son? Who knows writers cant decide where they want to place these characters
Sometimes boruto can be fast enough to tag isshiki and other times can struggle with ao, Same logic applies to kawaki who struggled with garo an outer and then also did well versus boro an inner.
