For real you can't browse more than two threads without someone fangasming about this character.

All I saw was him failing so bad, susanoo fail, amaterasu fail, even his new fancy kawarimi failed.
Had to get rescued by sakura of all people.
Got shown up by kakashi's double mangekyo and susanoo, and ended up following his orders to trap kaguya after trying to be in charge.

His character has seen better days, if you really wanna praise him mentioning the kaguya fight is not advisable.
