Obviously. I didn't know anything about his character, but the mere fact that he cheats, is unmotivated, and lazy.

Just makes his character amazing. I mean I could explain it to you if you wanted, or were interested. Also the cheating thing got better essentially if you think it's bad. I just thought he was going to be a clone unlike Sarada, but after watching it, it's clear he's just as unique as her. Which I am proud for, and I am a fan too. Thankfully not because he's some Mary Sue who can do no wrong in battle, but because he has flaws and had a great story arc.

Anyway, the reason he cheats is a very complex, and stressful problem in the movie. Rather than just being "Oh I need to cheat". It's one of the best things about the film and it dives into the reason why his character needs development, and why Sasuke being there for him is sweeter.
