I think it's describing the actual cloth he wears linking it to Hagoromo (the actual person) too. It's really vague tbh

Ahh i see.. If we connect the dots we could actually see now why Kaguya was afraid of these guys. Kaguya was literally afraid of hagoromo who had the potential to defeat her alone. So portraying Kinshiki to Hagoromo actually makes sense now, BTW i'm going to go out on a limb here XD

I think Hagoromo/Hamura had the potential to take down Kaguya, not by themselves.

I'm more inclined to believe that both hamura and hagoromo possessed the ability to seal her, because hagoromo possessed both the seals which is represented by his Sun and Moon sides of staff(Through which he gave seals to NS).

So it makes sense that hagoromo was capable of sealing kaguya by himself.

Sure he can. She was his mother afterall. He can give her son lovely hug and seal her. The problem before, Juubi is to big to hug.

Since it was never really explained, my personal belief is that Hamura gave him the Moon seal after they sealed the Juubi.

It sort of makes sense considering they needed each other to hold down the Juubi, right?

Being larger in size only widens the opportunity for getting sealed.

Theoretically yes, but we know little to nothing about hagoromo's past. Who's to say what kind of power power he achieved by mastering two rinnegan?. What could possibly be there that even scares kaguya is what i have been thinking.
