It would be nice if after watching this movie, people would have more conversations in parent-child relationships like this one, or with any of their loved ones…that’s what I was thinking as I made it. It wasn’t particularly because I thought “I want to draw Boruto’s story” or anything like that, but if it could become an opportunity for people to become more interested in each other… There’s nothing more to it than that.

Pretty sure most people don't care about him personally. Criticizing his work isn't the same as disrespecting him; good people can be bad at their jobs and vice versa (not saying Kishi is bad, that's subjective).

OT: well, the messages Kishi tried to deliver have always been quite clear. I do appreciate him being positive, at least.
